Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

As the title says, I'm looking for recommendations for a small Tv, under 30", with a built in Sat tuner preferably with easy Sat/Terrestrial switching. Recording not needed.

Otherwise, you'd probably have to drop to 24" TV from the likes of Walker or Toshiba, etc.

Drop a post on Richersounds as you might be surprised on what is available and 5 year warranty.

I have a 24inch Walker, no switching, all on one list, records to a usb stick, nó complaints.

If you're going to be using the TV for any reasonable period of time for channel switching, then I'd be far more inclined to get a separate TV and STB. The interfaces on the bulk of TVs with integrated tuners are not up to the job.

Had a 24" Blaupunkt integrated model for ages, and even though the switching was reasonably quick, the lack of an EPG on FTA Sat was a pain. Eventually ended up adding a very old Vu+ Solo box - interface and usability is now streets ahead.

If you go for a something like the newer Vu+ Zero model, you can fairly easily hide the receiver and use the included IR extender.

It's looking like I'm chasing unicorns. Smaller, no-names, have naff specs. Brand names are like Swiss watches, they get dearer the smaller you go. You can get 32" for the same money or less than it's 24" equivalent.

Thanks anyway to all who have contributed. I think I'll have to rearrange my plans (or a few shelves) :)

Have you considered an STB with a monitor?

    Something like this

with your choice of STB might suit?
