So thinking maybe of moving to co. Clare.
    Where would anyone recommend?
I kinda.like the area of corofin and ballyvaughan.
Corofin has some nice lakes and close to ennis and the burren. Has anyone lived there? Is there many outsiders living there and what is there to do .
Ennis I'd nice too and I think would be fine place to be.
    Any thoughts?

Why are you moving to clare?
    Work?
    If so where?
An important factor I would think.

Yes nice areas, but not that close to Ennis, you'd definitely need a car living there. A mix of locals, English, German, Belgian, Dutch and french peoples in these areas. Can be a bit hippy country the further north Clare you go.

Only one area in Clare to avoid and that's Kilkee, and do avoid it like the plague!!

Chuckie Egg I'd really love to know why you said that about Kilkee. I am from Kilkee and have lived here all my life. It is a lovely little town with great people, fabulous cliff walks, a spectacular coastal drive, safe beach, unique pollock holes for swimming, one of the best diving places in Europe with wonderful under water sea life, great places to eat and socialise. I am baffled and disappointed by your comment :(
