    Sam Cooke Wonderful World
    Abstain
Bill Withers Lean On Me - this was a cruel match-up
MC Hammer U Can't Touch This

Ah you lot have no taste!

Not you, LeVar. I like you right now :D

U Can't Touch This is "meh" at best - listen to it back to back with Rick James' Super Freak though (which it ripped off sampled) and it's pure sh*te.

    What was your other nomination?

Luther Vandross. But he’s up against Sam Cooke so a loss there would be to a worthy opponent.

But MC Hammer vs The Commodores? Jesus wept! They’re even singing about two other amazing artists in Marvin Gaye & Jackie Wilson.

Dr Dre - nuthin but a “g” thang

Marvin Gaye - heard it through the grapevine

    Prince - when doves cry

    Aretha Franklin - respect

James brown - get up (sex machine)

Chic - he’s the greatest dancer

Kendrick Lamar - King Kunta ; tough call, I've only recently started listening to Kendrick though and in this instance something relatively new and fresh beats out nostalgia

Prince - 1999 ; this should be a no-brainer for everyone as 1999 is clearly the superior song, but as we all know terrible choices are made constantly in these tournaments

Stevie Wonder - Superstition ; another tough one, really like both, but hard to deny how epic Superstition is

2Pac - Changes ; I feel guilty for not voting 2Pac in the Kendrick Lamar battle, so definitely had to give him the nod here

Votes in bold (if I'm not too late!):

Kendrick Lemar King Kunta v Tupac Feat. Dr Dre California Love - because of the riffs

Prince 1999 v Craig David 7 Days - still has something even if it's not his best. Have to say, though, that's not a bad Craig David song.

Sylvestor You Make Me Feel (Mighty Real) v Stevie Wonder Superstition - great disco classic, and it's one of my nominations.

2pac Changes v Grandmaster Flash & The Furious Five The Message - Epic rap song - I forgot about that one!

    Not sure-sometime after 12pm.

Some good tunes there, particularly 2, 4, 5 and 6. Hopefully, some will have nominated them already!

Actually, I nominated the last song except it's not by Chic but by Sister Sledge! It's easy to make that mistake as the musicians are the whole Chic Organisation and the song was written by the two main guys of Chic (Nile Rodgers and Bernard Edwards)! The singers are Sister Sledge and that's who it is attributed to.
