Given all the hype I was expecting a record busting day however generation today came in at a solid 32.5 kWh, second highest day this week. I was hoping for a new all time high but alas...

bang on 28 KWh in Donegal from 4.1 kwp direct south facing setup . Best day of year so far

there was a nice breeze down here all day but it was the several hours of cloud cover this morning and an hour or so of cloud this afternoon which limited production.

23.7kwh today. Pretty happy with that. Hope the next few days deliver on their promise.

    34.3 kWh Galway also.

I noticed no clipping today because of the temp of panels, usually clipped at 5.5 but never got above 4.9kW today. Temperature for the first time this year brought my yield down a bit.

Sadly today is the end of it. Tomorrow (Monday) a return to "meh" days.

But Tuesday/weds seem ok (Tuesday about 50% of what we'll get today and Wed about 60%) after that while the Met Eireann forecasts do have feeds/data for, in my experience they are pretty variable. But up to 72 hrs they are generally good.

What a banger!! It will be busy here today posting magic numbers. From my 2-3 experience this will be a 95% max production day for people. I think I will be 1-2 kWh off my max

43 kWh...what a curve...does not get better. Only 1.5 kWh off my best. For all the people out there with new systems today is about as good as it gets.. if you are east west then yeah over the next few weeks your systems will shine through

    35.22kWH,my best day yet

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,551 ✭✭✭bullit_dodger

Yeah, your right with that ECO. My 6.5Kwp E/W split today generated 30.6kWh today, but I know my all-time high (in June) is 40.9Kwh.

The E/W splits are not great in winter with the sun low on the horizon to the south, but in summer time it's the opposite. I start to generate power at 5am on the East facing panels as the sun rises in the north east.

An Absolute smashing day with 46.1kWh produced. Reckon the system was at full pelt and unlikely to see a higher days generation this year. Blue skies all day apart from 1 brief pesky cloud at 6:30 this evening :)

A new record smashing the old one by 10 kWh!

Loving all these record numbers, hit 61.4kwh today, North panels starting to show their worth in this weather, I'd say my inverter is limiting things now (for now)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,551 ✭✭✭bullit_dodger

You might see better yet, but not much if your south facing. One thing did occur to me, is your tilting options. In summer you should have the panels as flat as possible (maybe 20 deg from the horizontal plane). That would boost it a little if you haven't already done it. You don't want to go parallel to the ground as you want an angle to get the rain to run off.

65kwh on the nose today. Belter 🌞 ☀️

Possibly but it was clipping from 11am right through to 3:30.

It kills me to see the sun go behind the panels 🤣
