It was a peno but it is a major statistical quirk the amount of penalties Utd are getting even if all are deserved. I have never known a run like it.

I think most teams have a penalty shout in every game, so Utd are no different in that regard. The difference I see is that generally most penalty calls are not awarded more often than awarded, but it seems every Utd shout is ending in a penalty. I wouldn't mind seeing some stats on penalty award vs penalty claim (ie. where the ref has a decision to make), if such a thing exists.
