You watching every game simultaneously again, Walter?

Watching City/Porto and the goals show.

Zapata has given Atalanta the lead.

Bayern leading through Coman goal. Lovely Kimmich pass after Felix jumped out of a challenge.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,191 ✭✭✭✭Shanotheslayer

    Some finish by Mane :pac:

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,630 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

Comical stuff from Tagliafico. Gomez meanwhile has scored a beaut off the underside of the crossbar to give Atalanta a second.

Goretzka makes it 2-0 to Bayern. Coman again involved.

Muriel has made it 3-0 to Atalanta. Keeper fumbled Zapata's shot. Very wet conditions in Denmark.

Champions of Europe starting as they mean to go on at home to the stingy Athletico Madrid, leading 2 nil and getting into their stride.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,630 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

That was a brilliant goalline clearance by Fabinho.

Half-time. City been very disappointing. Having most of the possession but not threatening much. Porto looking dangerous and Walker had to clear off the line. Suspect Pep will be giving them an earful.

Champions of the World leading 1-0 at half time. Adrian being the biggest danger to that lead.

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,640 ✭✭✭TheCitizen

Liverpool so lucky to be ahead. Hopefully Ajax get a bit of deserved luck and win the game

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,640 ✭✭✭TheCitizen

Keith Andrews analysing a Liverpool game is a joke

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,640 ✭✭✭TheCitizen

Worrying actually that Andrews is in the dugout with Stephen Kenny, he does not come across as very intelligent

Lukaku makes it 1-0 from close range.

World champions denied a clear penalty.

    Never a pen for that.

Firmino? Should've been carded for diving

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,706 ✭✭✭✭osarusan

Ajax play lovely stuff at times, just nobody finish off moves.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,630 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

Klopp taking off his front 3 before the hour mark is unusual. Were they playing poorly?

Thuram has won a pen for Gladbach. Bensebaini converts it to level the game.

It wasn't a peno but if they carded players for that we'd never see Fernandez again.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,630 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

What a goal by Tolisso. Absolute rocket.

Gundogan with a peach of a free-kick to restore City's lead.

Honestly, what is that other than a dive. There is never enough contact to make him fall like that. He fell over wanting a penalty.

That was a lovely free kick from Gundogan

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,630 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

Great solo goal by Coman for 4-0. He turned Felipe inside out.

Sub Ferran Torres makes it 3-1 to City. Skipped by Pepe very easily. Hard for Porto to come back now.

Mane was good, the other two not so.

Still, Klopp has 5 subs to work with and good replacements to bring on. He will have an eye on resting the 3 lads for the weekend.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,630 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

Gladbach have turned it around to lead 2-1. Long VAR check for that. Hofmann on the break and finishes through Handanovic's legs.

Miranchuk with a lovely goal for Atalanta. Olympiacos meanwhile have taken the lead in injury time.

Lukaku has equalised for his second of the night.

Pepe is mad. Surprised he didn't get a card for that clash with Sterling.

Ajax keeper has been excellent from the bits I saw

A bit weird to have 'You'll Never Walk Alone' piped in for the last few seconds there!

Good result for the World Champions. Overcame Adrian and some poor officiating and shocking decisions.

If you listen to Brian Kerr, Klopp was angry at them

Common sense opinion: this was pre-planned like every other Klopp 60min sub

Salah doesn't get hooked for poor performance EVER. Klopp knows he can score in a heartbeat no matter how poor he is in a game.

    This was planned

Liverpool finally have decent replacements in Taki and Jota so the lads getting a rest will become more common ,

As you said it was quite obvious Klopp tried resting as many as he could last night,

Milner, Gini, & Jones didn't feature against Everton bar 4 minutes for Gini and then taking front 3 of at 60 minutes, Even Trent didn't venture to far forward, The whole game was played in second gear

I reckon Saturday you'll see Thiago, Naby and Henderson in midfield and everyone let of the leash again ,

Really interesting game between Shakhtar and Inter. If Shakhtar can get a win they'll be on 6 points and will have a great chance of taking one of the qualifying places.

Lokomotive really should have scored after 3 minutes. Free header straight at Neuer.

Unreal goal from Bayern. Like a video game.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,630 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

Barella unlucky not to put Inter ahead. Lovely technique on his strike that hits the crossbar. Lukaku absolutely bullied the Shakhtar defence to set up the chance.

Sensational save from Shakhtar keeper Trubin to deny Lukaku's free-kick, tipping it on to the crossbar. Lukaku stunned it didn't go in. Won't be many better stops than that this season.

0-0 at the break. Inter the better side and Lukaku causing lots of problems. Tete looks bright for the home side but they struggled to get out of their half for most of the half.

Great chance for Lokomotiv to go 2-1 up, lad went for glory himself

And then Bayern go 2-1 up, lovely finish by Kimmich

Ends goalless in Kiev. Frustrating game for Inter who were the better side. Lautaro missed a sitter from a rebound. I thought Lukaku should have had a penalty, although the BT commentators and VAR didn't think so.

4 points from games with Madrid and Inter is a grand start for Shakhtar.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,630 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

Torres gives City the lead. Marseille with a gift via some awful defending. Rongier passes it back towards Caleta-Car who stands there like a statue.

these lads vs liverpool are sprinting all over the place! no way they can that up

Fabinho off. Pulled up, and didn't look happy. Not what Liverpool need right now.

    Madrid losing at Gladbach.

    Under pressure now.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,630 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

That was a superb strike from Thuram to give Gladbach the lead.

Ajax continuing their good form and lead Atalanta 2-0.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,630 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

Atletico in a spot of bother. They've gone 2-1 down to Salzburg. Both Madrid sides in danger of back to back defeats.

Joao Felix equalises to lessen the bother. Thuram meanwhile has got a second and Gladbach are on the way to a win.

Real 2 down now. Shocking defence for that goal.
