The max in the Circuit Court is €60k for a personal injury claim. €75k is the max for other claims. Not sure which category defamation falls into but he only got a fraction of the €375k. I'd guess the €375k is €75k per person. They woudn't have gotten the colour of it.

That fella would want to watch himself honestly, you’d think with a child on the way he’d be a lot more self aware to not go around threatening drug dealers, but then again if something does happen to him it’ll be so obvious who done it to him.

Think you might be a tad off target, the G fellas have so many wanting them gone, it could be anyone, because that is their business taxing drug dealers, and selling it, so they are far from angels, do I believe DG has turned his life around, not a chance in hell, and if his bruv does ever get out they will be worse.

That would be utter suicide and not really in line with the thinking of anyone with any level of intelligence above brain dead, especially at that time.

It could also have been a rumour circulated by the provos at the time as a warning to anyone not to collude. Their propaganda machine was second to none during those days.
