I thought Eamon Dunne was from Blackhorse Grove, which is not what you’d call a middle class estate by any means.

I wasn't aware where exactly he was from, I only mentioned him as the Cartel book if I can recall mentioned he had a middle class upbringing. Open to being wrong

Interesting, from what I've seen, generally, anyone who enters into the drug dealing, armed robbery, murder life is from quite a poor background and may see no other option to leave their current circumstances. Obviously that's generally how it goes in every part of the world where there are gangs but does anyone know any other gangsters from middle class backgrounds? I think the Don was and maybe Christy Kinahan but is there any other well known ones who came from a middle class background?

The last paragraph says Fowler’s associates have support from Jay o Connor in blanch against flashy, thought Jay was his uncle?

Also references the Bradley brothers who haven’t been involved in crime for years. Pince of salt

Only for that man, I would have lost my single status at a time in the distant past. At least now you have answered from whence he came. But to where did his journey take him from there?

Remember chatting to a man through work who grew up with Dutchie Holland in Chapelizod. Never wanted for a penny growing up. Defo a case of someone choosing crime.

I think it was paul williams (it was some media) made a deal of it that Dunne did his leaving cert as opposed to most of peers. Maybe to some that's middle class.

in the blanch feud around 2019.
The same media said JOC was backed by flashy.

    https://www.thesun.ie/news/4266012/enforcer-gang-corduff-feud-vows-sniff-out-rats/
This enforcer has played a key role in the Blanch gang’s war against former members of the Westies, who have been backed by Mr Flashy.

one would suggest they are making things up - the lack of real names means they can say any old sh1te and 6 months later say the opposite.

She had to surrender her passport today in court and was bailed again.

I heard she was slagging off her judge on it today too. I wonder if that'll come up next time she's up.

There should be a separate thread for people to talk about Gemma Green, She sounds like an absolute handicap and I have absolutely no interest in what she's doing

Your word handicap says something about you.

I think it's funny even if she is an idiot.
