Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Russell does seem like he would prefer to be the alfa male leader of the group so maybe might clash with Shane or Vernon, fingers crossed :P

OT but Russell suffered with brain tumours

I got the impression that Russel knows Vernon already thats why i discounted him out a little, he seems to be a similar personality type to Shane which is why i thought they would clash.

Id say someone is going to put their foot in it with either Beverly or Jordan and thats going to spark the drama.

I was reading that, the daily mail article on the removal through his lip is grim.

It's always better when they're starving, that's when the drama starts. Been a few years since we've seen it, the year of Amir Khan. Tasks have gotten too easy.

I don't know if I'll last the course with this series, it seems shambolic and poorly edited as well as being boring.

    I managed 2 nights :D

They've also got less imaginative. I seem to remember quite a few done at height. They were different.

Another that comes to mind was iirc with Tuffers (a genuine celeb). It was an eating trial but with a choice - the burger and chips or the meali grub. I think the last one was something disgusting or a pint of beer. Tuffers did it, got the maximum stars and A&D said - Alright you can have the pint. That's just good natured and fun too. We seem to have lost some of that along the way.:(

To be fair the "we'll have a whistling Nessun Dorma next" was one of the funniest off the cuff remarks I've heard on tv and this show in quite some time. Well played Ant or Dec.

I was trying to think of who Jordan reminded me of, finally clicked with his seal clapping and buffooning and hanging off celebs ... Jimmy Fallon. Everything is over the top, everything is insincere.

I miss the lizard swiping the fly at the end of a vt! I appreciate the work gone into the castle and I'm sure covid is playing havoc with production but its not the same without the jungle. The fact it all seems to be filmed indoors and at night is making it seem dreary. At least in Australia you had the greenery of the jungle and sunshine in the background during the trails and show itself.

A fantastic remedy for insomnia though! :p

The only glimmer of hope is the fragile egos some of them seem to have - Vernon, MBE and possible Dumbmo.

And the hand sanitiser! Although that could just be edited to look like it happened straight away.

At least Jordan isn't afraid of feet.
