If they are being tested it is likely the celebs are indeed gone into isolation somewhere while waiting for results.

If they are all going to be tested weekly ,.why not just say that , people would understand it's a valid reason .

There's no extra camp this year, or whatever it's called. So, we don't see those little parts that are usually shown.
Maybe something to do with it?

Also, might be working time agreements too, they are working much later this year than usually, maybe?

Has it not been a similar thing every year? That Saturday episodes are extra camp with unseen clips etc? I've never watched im a celeb on a Saturday

I suspect its to do with covid and everything that that entails. Its probably also a bit more awkward from a production point of view to get a show out in a short space of time. In Australia they have the benefit of getting all the previous days footage, scripts etc together during the night time hours. In Wales they have a much shorter time window between everything getting filmed and the show going live.

Surely they were isolated and tested before filming began? I'd presume the crew ans Ant and Dec are not mixing with others for the course of this series, so no need for testing again.

Isolating for one day doesn't make sense either, they've been together up to this point and isolating should be for 2 weeks.

Maybe they think the week wasn't boring enough and we need more misery?

Actually, the loss of the time difference makes sense, it hasn't been as polished this year.

Probably be different crew too, I'd imagine they use an Australian production company in the jungle. Not sure what level or size of crew travel down with Ant and Dec.

Thought I was going crazy reading all these posts about why it wasn't on.... its never been on on a Saturday night.... right? Its been extra camp or recap shows every year. I know extra camp had some live elements, with other celebs and stuff, but it was essentially just a filler show.
