Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I currently have a HTPC setup with dual DVB-T and dual DVB-S2. The system is running TV Mosaic which unfortunately is no longer supported and won't have EPG after this month. The system I have is not the most efficient, so considering swapping over to a dedicated receiver instead while going to the hassle of reconfiguring my setup.
It will need to be able to stream to kodi on two android boxes (unit itself most likely won't be connected to a TV). I will need dual DVB-S2, but may get away with single DVB-T (but would like option to add USB tuner eventually).

I'm thinking I will need an enigma 2 receiver to be able to get EPG and stream to the kodi boxes. From what I have seen the Zgemma H7s seems to fit the bill. Is there any other boxes that I should be looking at?

I have the H7s with twin sat and saorview and can record to it,Enable samba in network makes your box seen and can view files elsewhere.

What tuners do you have presently?
Are they USB or in proprietary boxes?
I am wondering if they can be reused for the new set up.

It is easy to use LibreELEC as the operating system in the HTPC if the hardware allows, and run TVH server on it to communicate with the client devices.

Also a low end ARM device, capable of running a basic Linux, could be all you need along with tuners.
I have used HDHomerun and Digibit R1 tuner boxes which the ARM device manages.

My ARM device runs CoreELEC with TVH server and have each of the client machines running Kodi with the TVH Client plugin.

The tuning, EPG and recordings are all arranged on the wee server (ARM) device, with the client machines used only to select and display the content and to set recordings from the 7 day EPG.

    All software is Open Source.

Thanks Johnboy. The existing tuners are pci-e tuners, so plan would be to put them on adverts or ebay. I tried the on it previously, but could never get the epg working properly. HTPC was used as server also for movies etc, but this aspect is never used anymore due to Netflix, so no real need for a power hungry pc running 24/7.

I expect that was an autocorrection error and you meant TVH ....

There is a thread in the HTPC section that deals with EPG settings for TVH.

    https://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2058075201

It is not difficult ...... TVH does it all - no need to specify external sources etc..

The results are quite impressive ...... here is a pic taken a few minutes ago showing the EPG for Wednesday of next week .....
