Another homeless man has been murdered in Cork - the third such killing in a year. The previous two have not resulted in charges.

Could one person be responsible for the three murders?

How do you know he was murdered?

Because the guards are for now treating the death as suspicious.....

My first thought as well was that it was strange for another homeless man to be found dead in suspicious circumstances

    Could they be linked?

I mean not beyond the realms of possibility. Bit mad to think of it on your own doorstep.

Was this the body found by Parnell Place?

I said in a thread a while back that the death of a homeless man in Cork had all the hallmarks of a serial killer. I was lambasted. I think my post was even removed.

I hope it's not the case, poor man apparently there a few days.
Hopefully the area will throw up some CCTV results.
I'd imagine that area around the carpark, delivery area, bus office would have a few decent cameras.

I'm trying to find it. I can't find it in my own post search.

If anyone else could have a quick gander, I'd appreciate it.

Can a moderator confirm or deny whether I had a post that was deleted, or not?

Rumours that it was suicide. Jumped from the roof of the car park.

Another body found while ago by the Mardyke

    Two in two days.

Authorities need to seriously get their act together regarding people being left roam the streets with mental health and addiction issues.

    From the Echo:
At present Gardaí say they do not believe the death to be suspicious.

"Gardaí are currently trying to establish the circumstances of this incident but it appears to be a tragic incident," they said

Agree wholeheartedly and countless others agus me fein have been on about this for years, and I mean years,in libraries,on buses ,at matches wherever ppl meet and someone mentions about some assault etc that's the first thing that comes up" more gardai on the beat" etc etc all governments last and present are guilty of not really caring enough to even address this

Gardai on the beat does nothing to resolve mental health issues.
