Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi. I have a 4 LNB Sky dish and I am using one of them to run to a SAB freeview box in my son s room. It gets all the UK channels free so happy days.

Now he is away working at moment and we as the parents are looking at moving the SAB box to our room. This would either mean extending the cable from sons room OR can we attach a splitter in his room and we each run a cable off the splitter.

There would NEVER be the chance that we both be watching at same time... so can it be done??? Can you split this signal like this without loss of quality?

    Many thanks

    No.

Each room needs it's own cable to work properly

You can simply join your cable to the end of his and use it while it is not being used in his room.
This would join two 'male' plugs to extend the cable

Ya.... that what I was going to do.

So - when he wants the SAB box - he just plugs it in and then unplug our cable from the join and then re-join the SKY cable to the SAB box. When he disappears again for a few weeks - I just rob back the SAB box and re-connect the cable back to the connector to connect back to my cable to bedroom and then set up SAB in my bedroom.

I changed the type of connector ........ that one if used for terrestrial connections and the other one (now in the post) is used for satellite connections.
