British Army soldiers are hardly innocent 'victims'.

Of course they were innocent, they were on the bus either going home on leave, or coming back from being on leave, then the bomb goes off.....

Bodies, bits of bodies and wreckage strewn everywhere. By the way, I think the underlying sympathy & support for terrorism on here is a disgrace.

"The soldiers killed were: Jayson Burfitt (aged 19), Richard Greener (aged 21), Mark Norsworthy (aged 18), Stephen Wilkinson (aged 18), Jason Winter (aged 19), Blair Bishop (aged 19), Alexander Lewis (aged 18) and Peter Bullock (aged 21)."

I suppose you and Francie will tell us this was worth it because it achieved results? They were just kids, and they were killed for what? Innocent young men starting out on a life's journey, with that life taken away by cowards that you would deem heroes.

And now, the memorial is desecrated by the modern version of those cowards.

So, with that in mind, would you say northern ireland has been a success or failure?

It was all wrong from the start blanch...as you mention me.

Nice that you know their names, will you be providing this reminder service whenever any atrocity is mentioned or is it just for a select group of victims?

Kids who were old enough to sign up for an army so no not innocent children. And wow they were coming back from or going to a tour of duty well the civilian victims of the British army around the world don't get to decide when that are or are not on duty. Those airstrikes don't just hit the on duty soldiers

They were there to strike terror into the nationalist population. They were not conscripted either. They signed up with the British Army - not the Peace Corp.

Hypothetically, if you had the names of the bombers of those members of the British Army would you give that information to the RUC/PSNI?

    What is the point?

    Westminster still has power

Classic, you answered your own question there Francie.
Why wouldn't they claim expenses they are still doing representative work of an MP

Doing the work of an MP while not taking their seats in Westminister?
    Good one! :D

Again I have to school you. The main reason they don't take their seats is that they will not interfere in the running of other countries (not the the taking of the oath, as is frequently thought)
They represent their constituents and do all the work of an MP in their own country.

Danny Morrison has written on this...you should, as always, inform yourself. Education bring enlightenment.

Like how they didn't take their seats in the Dail or recognise 'The Free State' until recently?
SF, the richest party on the island, doing the work of MP's while not even taking their seats.
It is what it is, a cash grab. SF/PIRA know all about that sure. :D

Yes, they 'sit on their arses all day, burning NI bank notes and talking about the RA' story eh?

Do yourself a favour and go and find out what they do for constituents Mark because those constituents keep electing them happily.

The job of an MP is to legislate. That is what they receive a salary and expenses for.

The other stuff you talk about is the fluff of pleasing an electorate to ensure you get re-elected, but it has nothing to do with the actual job.

That's a bit naive when it comes to the UK parliament and its processes.

If SF didn't do a tap, chances are they would still get those votes, as much as you and other partitionists hate it.

If the nationalist community have any interest in legislation being brought forward or voted on by their MPs they have others to vote for. As it stands, they vote for who they believe is best for them.

Technically no the richest if you consider the donations given to every FG candidate at every level by the world's only exclusively taxpayer funded billionaire

Hardly "innocent" as they had taken up the gun as a profession and gone off to another country to impose British rule on its occupants.

Oh of the Ghost of Dinny is it?
Do you have proof of this claim?

The facts are clear on this, SF are by far the richest party on the island.
Sure, they have Trump himself at one of their 'do's.

Look at the last election, FG spent around 3 times the amount anyone else did and one thing about FGers they won't spend their own money so who was paying for the posters and all the newspaper ads? Oh and before you say about all donations being declared have a look at the Sipo website, there's less fantasy in The Lord of the rings
