Last bit of tinkering: Antonio or Wilson? Have Soucek and ASM so there’ll be a double up either way

  • Registered Users Posts: 22,625 ✭✭✭✭extra gravy

    McCarthy
    TAA Robertson Doherty Egan
    Auba Alli Havertz
    Ings Adams Werner

    Fodder Mitchell Bissouma Reed

Got fed up of trying to pick 4.5 defenders or 5.5 mids so went with none in the end. Like Egan's price point, he can become Reece James in GW4 when we know if he's nailed or not or Saiss when Wolves fixtures improve. Bench is obviously bad but hopefully I can survive the first few weeks before looking at possible upgrades.

Final draft any last minute suggestions 343 every week

    Ryan Button
    TAA Robbo Justin Holding KWP
    Salad Auba Alli ASM Bissouma
    Werner Mitro Watkins

Checking out now till the deadline. Final lineup:

    McCarthy (Fodder)
    TAA Robertson Doherty Egan (Johnson)
    Aubumyang Salah Son Soucek (Bissouma)
    Abams Wilson (Fodder)

2.5 ITB to do Son-DeBruyne in the next day or two

I have 10 of the same players, so can't criticise much!

I've gone with the WBA keepers, and Ayling, Soucek and Mitrovic for your Egan, ASM and Davis.

Thoughts please, like the double lfc defence but open to opinions

    McCarthy (Ryan)
    Egan, KWP, VVD, TAA (Ayling)
    Auba, Soucek, Salah (ASM, Stephens)
    Werner, Richardson, Wilson

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,911 ✭✭✭tailgunner

    Nearly there.

    Johnstone, Button
    TAA, Davies, KWP, Lascelles, Ayling
    Auba, Salah, ASM, Soucek, Bissouma
    Werner, Ings, Richarlison

0.5 ITB. Rough plan is to go Ings > Martial next week, and downgrade Auba to KDB the week after.

Don't like not having a Spurs attacker, but Alli is my only real option there, and he doesn't inspire confidence. I'd have to lose Richarlison too.

Might get tricky if Kane/Aguero become essential, but I think most will have that problem.

Wouldn't change Salah IMO. Could run riot against Leeds. The other ones are sound but i guess you' need to change Salah to afford it

Do you have any other route to Ings? Pulisic/Havertz gametime is too up in the air for me.

Yeah that's the problem, backing Puli and Martial over Salah and Davies

Have double pool defence so hoping they cover

    You should've listened to Degag.
No point worrying about it, plenty more games to be played over the season and in a few weeks time, your call might seem inspired.

Doherty was 1 inch away from getting a goal. Very fine margins. Give it a few GWs.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,311 ✭✭✭nullObjects

Doherty subbed before the 90, hopefully be a few games where he gets subbed before Spurs concede a late goal

wouldn't sweat it at this stage - very early days and in the long run their points will even out.. Doherty was very close to scoring and was creating a lot of forward momentum for spurs!

I find when you start tinkering and changing too much it ruins your team -

Spurs though were worrying to watch as a whole though, they looked so clueless and rigid and un-inventive going forward , reckon its going to be a miserable season for them ... too early to tell at this stage but reckon there are better attacking value elsewhere than Kane&Son
