City Centre the Waterloo is decent, always liked the Goat for the Rugby but its southside.

Waterloo is neither city centre nor decent!
Bankers off Dame Street is good for the rugby and does food.

Thanks. With the current rules, I would prefer to watch at home but don’t have Eir.

The game is also on Premier Sports 1 which is part of the NowTV Sports Extra Pass, if you had a way to stream to a TV(Chromecast etc) a day pass cost €10

    https://www.nowtv.com/ie/sports-overview

    * I have not done this yet, so do not know if the games are geo locked in ireland

Full deferred coverage on TG4 if you can avoid the result.

Yep it is what it is.

What is a good food pub in Dublin to watch the game (Munster fan)?

Haven't been there recently, but I'm told that Berlin/D2 is a great spot for watching rugby. Just tell the doorman that Jay sent you.

Wonder if this is what all the teams will be doing this weekend?

Do you think anyone would notice if during this we threw a red jersey over Ringrose and ushered him to the dressing room :D

Absolutely massive game for Munster today.

    They cannot afford to lose.

I expect a couple of contentious decisions will go their way.

This is the home straight for Project Munster after unprecedented investment. They MUST win silverware in next 2 and a bit seasons. So many lads entering the Autumn of their careers. So little silverware to show for all those days in the trenches.

Today is where the passion puts the pedal to the metal.

Munster +9 looks pretty close to free money today. Fill your boots.

Now excuse me while I adjust my tinfoil hat! :D

    Enjoy the game everyone.

Yeah all games will have it.
This weekend ahead of the Guinness PRO14 restart games two occurrences will precede the kick-off. At each game a moment’s silence will be observed to mark the loss of life suffered during the Covid-19 pandemic and to honour those who have worked on the frontline to protect us.

After this a ‘Unity Moment’ will be observed to demonstrate that rugby stands united against racism and to emphasise the game’s core values of solidarity and respect. Players will stand in a circular formation and during this time they are free to express themselves in a manner they deem appropriate.

This Unity Moment will underline the message of Rugby Against Racism across the territories that encompass the Guinness PRO14.

First game in 6 months against a team who are favourites and Munster are almost guaranteed a playoff spot already. They can almost certainly afford to lose this match.

I've a sneaky feeling they might pinch it though. They've picked a very interesting team. I think they're going to look to absolutely bludgeon Leinster up front and wear them down. DDA is an absolutely huge addition. He's going to transform that back line in terms of giving them a real passing and line breaking threat.

I don't see many sides being able to contain the Munster back line in terms of punching holes if they get their decision making right.

Also, can’t wait to see Jack Conan tonight.

I think the emergence of Doris and Deegan made people forget just how good he is.

Honestly, if Murray and JJH play well, I think Munster will win.

Leinster are just proud to be on the same field as them, frankly.

462 days since Leinster lost a game. 21 wins in a row, the longest winning streak in professional rugby history, club or international.

It would be downright rude of Munster to win, frankly, and I hope ye have a bit more class than that.

Really!? I did not know that

Ideally fineen wycherly will jump out from behind an advertisement hoarding and leather Sexton while simultaneously not damaging him in any way for the upcoming internationals.

Also of Lowe could retaliate and get sent off thatd be stupendous

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,876 ✭✭✭CMcsporty

I think DDA will manage just fine without Wycherley! Sexton will need to be allot smarter how he goes about tackling and releasing the ball.

Not sure if this is accurate. The ABs went more days without a loss or or a draw from the start of 2013 till August 2014. Also if the Cypriot rugby team are professional, they had a 24 game winning streak.

21 games is the longest winning run. The number of days doesn't mean anything really.
If the Cypriot rugby team is professional I'll never post here again ever.

Late change for Munster. James Cronin drops out if the squad. Kilcoyne moves from the bench to the starting 15. Jeremy Loughman takes the LH bench spot.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,366 ✭✭✭yerrahbah

Not ideal. But Killer is Killer and if the game opens up in the 2nd half it could suit Loughman

Someone start a match thread please.

The tolerance for wind-ups in the match thread will be low.
