Sure FFS, Manson was the divil incarnate some years back. :pac:

Mind you, I do wonder idly if a group of nearly naked youngfellas singing about their mickeys would provoke more outrage.

Hah, I remember back in secondary school they banned pretty much any reference to him. No bags, clothes or anything could have his branding on it.

In true rebellion a bunch of us were able to order some Marilyn Manson socks :pac:

And now he's an intelligent artist according to some of the older lot.

I wonder what the music will be like in 20 years when the people who like the WAP song are old and saying "Yeah but Cardie B was a thoughtful artist, the stuff nowadays is just vulgar".

    Sigh..

When Brittney Spears was singing Slave for you she wasn't on about making a sambo. Christina came along and pushed the boundries a bit, Rihanna a bit more. So we end up here.

First they came for the socialists...

But like, he was making a point..

Although, seeing as she's interviewing Joe Biden, I suppose there could be some subliminal social critique underlying it that I'm not picking up on..

I dare say there's a hell of a lot going on that you're not picking up on.

Is Cardi B honestly thought of by many as being very attractive?

As soon as Elvis wiggled his hips it was the end of civilisation.

This album was number 1 in 26 countries, nearly 25 years ago. 4 mins in for the "good" stuff.

I met Liam and the lads at a music festival in Wales and it's smack my pitch up, basically upping the volume on the mixer.
And people who are hard of hearing got the wrong message lol

Sexual liberation. Celebrating her sexuality and being in control of her sex life. I didn't see much more to it than that but I only listened to the first half. What else does a song need? Every generation buys songs about sexual liberation. You don't like it because it's not aimed at you and it's not relevant to your stage of life - unless you're discovering your sexuality at the moment. Simple as that

I don't know if I'd equate 'Whore's in the house' with sexual liberation..

    Yeah, he started all this.

    A little less conservativeness
    Shove me tender

    It's plough or never
    Are you bonesome tonight

I prefer the Pussy Cat Dolls, I don't need a man...

Much more classy and more artistic, and it's more catchy...

Not particularly. In fairness to her though, she has a magnificent pair of baps.

Think the biggest negative against the song is that it showcases the failings of the American education system given that Cardi B can get to 27 years of age and not know what the word tonsils is.

One from 1935 that might ruffle a few feathers in here:

This looks like a thread dumped by the OP to feign controversy. I don't see any merits in opening it.
