Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Will Ole be out whinging like Klopp was considering he also got the early start which is basically the same time frame since their Europa league game as Liverpool had yesterday?

    Two outstanding saves there.

It reminded me of Jerzy Dudek's double save V Shevchenko (AC Milan) in the 2005 Champions League Final.

Armstrong should make it three there.

He has already done it a couple of weeks ago so I see no reason why he would not make the same case again ? also CL :) ?

Utd are in the champions league and played tuesday night but anyway don't let facts get in your way of your obsession with Liverpool

De Gea was diving behind the line rather athan across it, but strange.

United might need more than 1 penalty at this stage.

If he does, would that validate Klopp's "whinging" for you a bit more? The fact that another PL manager would question the scheduling?

    Nevermind.

Quazzie you had a bit of a mare there, your whinging about Klopp clouded the fact that you were completely in the wrong in what you were saying.

Lol. Don’t let facts get in the way of your desire to have a pop at Klopp.

Isn't Quassie an Arsenal fan? So many teams in the Europa League he's forgotten that Man Utd aren't one of them! :D

More than De Gea did for the free kick.

    Poor goalkeeping.

    It’ll finish 2-3, 2 penalties incoming.

Gotta admire Southampton. Its just over a year since the 9-0 hammering against Leicester. They could have sacked Hassenhutl then as a knee jerk reaction and I'm sure the majority of their fans wouldn't have protested that. But they stuck with him and are now set to be in the top 4 at the end of the day (if the result stays the same).

Just seen the highlight of Greenwood's open goal miss having missed the start of the game.

He needs to be doing better.

Here's ole saying the same thing as klopp a few weeks back .. no hate though..

You'd kinda feel sorry for OGS, he's just so far out of his depth.

That snide "congratulations" by Klopp was childish, no one likes sarcasm, particularly when it was a silly point. He must have been surprised the interviewer handed his arse to him, I think the reaction for Kelly is universal "well done for not putting up with petulant nonsense"

I believe he was, just before the Everton game when United had the same trunaround.

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

No, it's not. I saw plenty online that would contradict what you're claiming to be universal.

    For anyone who missed it.

David De Gea since gone off injured for banging his knee off the post trying to save the free kick.

I've included the first goal here also.

I feel more sorry for Klopp having to deal with people like Shreeves and Kelly who have never achieved anything in football except goading people for headlines. As for the reaction. Have a look at the actual video comments on YT and you'll see the reaction isn't universal in favour of Kelly. The majority is hammering him for being a sneaky wind up merchant.

Bruno with a nice touch and goal

    2-1

    Cavani first assist for United?

  • Registered Users Posts: 925 ✭✭✭TheadoreT

Looking forward to the big one today, feel Spurs have the edge but Standford Bridge never really a happy hunting ground for them. The way they've been using Sonny this season its probably gonna be the biggest test for Thiago Silvas 36 year old legs so far, be interesting to see how Chelsea try deal with it.

United looking dangerous now they have a real striker on and keeping the ball, still no idea why he did not start. Strange auld game, can see united getting a win, penalty or two will do it although they way both teams are giving the ball away, could just as easily come from a poor pass inro sapce in front of their own box from Southampton again.

    Best striker they have, evidently.

    Superb comeback.

United looking dangerous, they might even make the Europa League by the end of the season if Cavani and Bruno stay uninjured.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 34,424 ✭✭✭✭The_Kew_Tour

Great result and what a comeback.

But we got nothing from Var today so that's a disappointment and a worry . Hopefully get a penalty or 2 from it next week

I was hoping for a last minute VAR Bruno peno retaken twice

A cavani winner will have to do
