Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Utd performance in the first half was as bad as their Jersey.

Pogba's primary occupation is a Doritos salesperson, not a footballer.

What's the story with Laporte at City? Doesn't seem to be a guaranteed starter anymore and it doesn't look like a fitness issue.

Was poor in the defeat to Spurs and since then it's been bench, not in squad, bench & bench again today.

Not sure about him specifically, but Pep seems to do this every so often, where good players are taken out of the team despite playing well - Sane and Bernardo Silva the obvious examples. Guessing he's very very strict on training performance and behaviour, and if you drop off the pace at all or displease him at all you're out of the team.

Pogba and Telles particularly bad for the goal, like statues

    Bowen is such a baller.

    Incredible recovery tackle by AWB

    Just saw that, serious speed

Don't think anyone can say he lived up to the price tag and will go down as an awful transfer for United.

Bang average, passenger for the majority of games at United.

For me, he represents everything wrong with United in the last number of years.

United look lost without Fernandes who makes the team tick, relying on Pogba to do similar will let fans down every single time.

Never hopefully. Love how much it annoys the gammons.

WH will have nobody to blame but themselves when United end up going on and winning this

And West Ham keep missing chances. As you said, if they don't get the 3 points, they will have thrown them away.

That's a stinking miss by Bowen.

    Think they need shooting practise

So Fernandes not injured. OGS is clearly detached from the reality of his situation if he thinks Utd are good enough to win games without Fernandes.

He is unfortunately but Ole knows that Bruno is the only person who can save his job.

While I'm not writing off a 19 year old, it's madness to hear people compare Greenwood to the likes of Owen and Rooney at the same age, he looks miles off them

He's got qualities, but comparing him to those players does seem a bit ridiculous in fairness.

Ole praying no muscle injuries here. 30 mins to go no subs available.

    Great goal by Pogba

Odd Var check when they don't have the proper cameras for it

Edit: and great by Greenwood too

That's a weird one. The arc of the ball definitely looked like it had gone out and come back in, especially where it landed back just inside the pitch. Moyes was already calling it out well before the goal as well. No way for VAR to tell I guess though.

Some finish by GW as well

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,711 ✭✭✭This is it

If that's something that they check why not have a camera either end?

    Greenwood took that well

Moyes was fairly certain that it had gone out of play, but we haven't seen a proper angle.

United have pulled some fortunate wins out of their holes this season. You couldn’t say they have stopped playing for Ole anyway.

This 2nd half is all about Bruno Fernandes.

    Stunning player.

    What was the check for?

Fernandes really is a one man team.

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

West Ham only have themselves to blame - if you don’t take your chances to go 2 or 3 up, you’ll invariably get punished against a top 4 side.

Superb tackle by Rice bad after effect for Rashford unfortunately

Some tank job from West Ham here.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,191 ✭✭✭✭Shanotheslayer

    Football doesn't make sense.

    How is this 1-3 :pac:

Lovely ball through from Mata, still has those great passes. Good finish too

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,114 ✭✭✭El Gato De Negocios

    Bruno came on.

Literally the only reason OGS is still in a job.

Some touch from Rashford, lovely dink to finish too

Big away win. ManU in the title race now? Must be surely.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,028 ✭✭✭PsychoPete

United look absolutely lost without Bruno and it was like a completely different team when he came on. He's keeping Ole in a job

Fair play to Ole that was a great substitutions at halftime that changed the game and Pogba scoring a cracker of a goal Man U are in safe hands with the two of them in the top 4 now.

To be fair nothing was happening until Martial got injured and Mata had to come on

    Absolutely.

Nobody is particularly consistent yet, so until that happens, about 6 teams are still in it really.

They have a few quality individuals in midfield and up front who can win games irrespective of how poorly they are set up - will be interesting to see how far that can take them in a long season. They haven’t played City or Liverpool yet, so if they can win those games, they’ll be in with a shout.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,821 ✭✭✭✭yourdeadwright

Of someone can put together a run of victories from now till January they'd habe to be the favorites

Huge Christmas period for all the top clubs, with City and Liverpool dropping there standards this season theres a massive opportunity for one of the other big 6 to win it

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,821 ✭✭✭✭yourdeadwright

United v City next weekend and Liverpool v Spurs 3 days after,
    2 absolutely huge games now

    Cavani starts again for Utd!!

    What do you think Rasta?

Removed after 45mins. Solid management for once.

Also talking about title races and who is top of the table in December is silly.

    Long way to go yet.

Barely noticed he was playing. Might have seen a few chances were he kept on , once the midfield started to click with Bruno on.

Taken off because he was injured

Was he? Didn't notice, thought Bruno was supposed to be injured too? Or did he simply want to keep him for midweek.
