Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Christ, another counter down Williams channel - a proper CB there is such a huge loss.

And Kane somehow totally fluffs the resulting corner!

Losing the aerial duals - I know Philips is a bit slow but he'd be fairly dominant in the air. 4 years older as well, which is huge for a CB.

Reckon we'll see Henderson move into CB in place of Williams, with Keita coming in for the last 20. That bit of experience at the back is really noticably missing.

How’s that not a yellow for Robertson?

Thought that was definitely a yellow card

Did young Jones just do that backing in and ducking move that Liverpool fans have been all over Kane about? Looked like he did to me anyway

Got the decision though, which was the free kick.

It's perfect for me. Just make sure it's not trying to run at 4K.

Did Kane get a bang on the head there, wait for the clearance to go to Liverpool player and then dive on the ground injured. Sneaky but fair play.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 32,022 ✭✭✭✭~Rebel~

That was weird... Liverpool in possession when the ball is kicked out for Kane's head injury, and then Spurs just play on from the restart and go on the attack?

I think you've mixed up Mourinho with someone who believes in sportsmanship

And it's bloody lovely to hear a player's song sung again after they've scored a goal.

    Really missed that!

Spurs got exactly what they deserved from that game. Absolutely nothing.

No better sight in football than seeing negative Jose lose.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,366 ✭✭✭✭8-10

God I love when teams win the toss at Anfield and make us attack the Kop in the first half.

Kompany did it a few times and Spurs did it tonight.

Means more to stuff them after that

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,612 ✭✭✭eigrod

    Jose losing his sh1t lol

He was utterly negative from start to finish. Such a waste of talent like Kane & Son. 80% of the game must’ve been played in Spurs half

Would have been more fun if that stayed a draw

Shearer would be proud of that header.

Mourinho's anti football in the 1st half fully got exactly what it deserved.

Great performance by Liverpool. Bullet header to win it.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,812 ✭✭✭thelad95

Perfect illustration of how much the game has passed Mourinho by. Liverpool are there to be got at at the moment and he sat back despite having the two most on form attackers in the league. Pathetic stuff to be honest.

Also a perfect illustration of why Spurs will realistically be nowhere near the title race.

First bit of daylight at the top all season.

3 times they got at the TAA and Williams channel and created danger and he stopped doing it and made negative substitutions

Spurs were playing with 6 at the back for periods of the game

    Liverpool miles the better team
But because of lack of defender and Spurs havimg Son amd Kane they where always in it

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,378 ✭✭✭✭TitianGerm

The better team on the night won it. Fully worth the victory.

24% possession and 2 shots on target for Spurs. Only managed a pass every 40 seconds or so and even with the that they only found their man three out of five attempts.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,139 ✭✭✭Augme

What a result, love it. Jose will get a lot of criticism, and his football is painful to watch but if Kane finished off that easy header from 5 yards out it would have been a different tone.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 27,349 ✭✭✭✭super_furry

I know results are everything and the end justifies the means, but Jesus imagine watching that Spurs team week in, week out. Allardyce football with faster frontmen.

Poch would be playing nice stuff with that squad.

Curtis Jones demanding the ball over and over again from a seasoned world class player Fabinho at 19 fupping years of age , what a prospect.

A looping deflection and a set piece goal. If Pep did it it would be called sterile ;)

There was almost as much deflection on the shot as there is in this Jose interview.
