His spokepeople have said he isolated for the reuired 14 days - that better be true otherwise he is toast. Easily corroborated, surely?

One TD has already said he saw him at the DAil last week so...
I don't think the spokesperson said anything about isolating etc....they kind of fudged the answer

The storm is only beginning for all these 80 individuals. Listen to any radio station. Or browse social media. The general public has had enough. The anger is palpable. I see Sen Jerry Buttimer of the Seanad has resigned now.

This individual didn't resign from the Seanad, just the vice chairman-ship.
He's still drawing a wage from the State.

Just to play devil's advocate here, it wasn't a property tax it was a service charge to the management company of which as a property owner he would likely have been a member.

It's completely different to a property tax.

Correct. Hogan as an owner was a shareholder of the company. Under the lease he has a legal obligation to pay. Refusing to pay because thegrass wasnt cut isnt an option.
( except of course when you are a thick ****)

Incredible that not one of the eighty one saw anything wrong with this.

I saw elsewhere that eighty two were due to attend.....I wonder who the person was who did not attend....

Buttimer hasn't resigned from being a senator no way is he going to give up that cushy number

Reports of members of AGS being at the event, it shouldn't take long.

Ah sure he can show the receipt for his plane ticket, if he’s nothing to hide. Course if another TD said he saw him in the dail last week, then grand sure we all believe what they say 100%, but the question is did he self quarantine?

These are nothing like resignations though. They're just getting less responsibility now while still getting paid a fortune. No one is even close to resigning.

This was an oireachtas golf society event...so this all had to be organised in advance..which means that invites had to be send out to all and sundry .so thats the job of the secretary or vice secretary..did these mappets not realise.this was all wrong to have all this going on in view of our current climate...ie covid restrictions..or are these people in the pockets of all.those that attended ....disgraceful
