It's a tough subject but it is worth noting that skin cancer Is the most common cancer in Ireland.

13000 cases are diagnosed annually and the numbers are rising.

Eh, I think it's the electorate who makes these free democratic decisions. The country is getting the political set-up that is voted for after all the arguments have been made. They know about the TDs they elect - where they come from , their record , their character . They elect the Healy Raes , the Lowrys , the Ferrises , the Ellises ,the McGraths etc. It doesn't matter whether they're wafflers , chancers, terrorist practitions/sympathisers or nepotists -that's the Dáil we get landed with. They had a chance to get rid of the absurdity that is the Senate and failed to do so. The proposal to have elected city Mayors was rejected except for Limerick.We're lumbered with a dysfunctional political system and a passive ,whimsical electorate. I can't see any sign of a change on the horizon.

Oh , but wait , some benighted retards have floated the suggestion that 16 yr olds should have the vote. Jesus sobbed profusely.

Health wise they are unproven and when carelessly disposed of they're an environmental problem.

Shopkeepers selling them to kids should be ashamed of themselves.

Is it just me or do RTE manage to squeeze in segments about cancer into every possible slot they can find? Every time I turn on it seems to be another voice talking about their medical situation. I don't remember it being like this in the 90s or 00s. Bizarre obsession.

It would make sense if it were a segment about a new treatment, or something that would help people but it never is. It's always just misery porn.

It definitely feels exactly that way. A good interviewer will let the subject lead and then nudge them in directions that the audience might be interested in. The guy expressed support for the attacks, the least that warrants is a follow up question.
