O dear God, was planning on listening this morning, just realised Ireland most Patronising, Detached, Arrogant and utterly opiniated ""STAND IN" presenter PBH filling in, I'm depressed enough so I'll leave that be.

Is there any wonder this chap has never actually had his own show, just awful to listen too.

I have to agree with this, but you forgot to include smug. I don't get some of the warm praise for PBH here...even in comparison to CB...but hey we all differ.

I'd like to formally apologise for missing that other quality this guy has, I hope I can be forgiven, how thoughtless of me, I'm ashamed :)

Brenda Power again....when Peadar Toibin is making the most sense on a panel (Neasa Hourican is the other guest) it's concerning.

Claire back next week unfortunately - put aside personal views ,PBH has been a breath of fresh air this week.

He's grand but his voice is a bit boring.

A good stand in, that's all in my view.

Mark Little said earlier he is admirer of American ideals and democracy right after outlining the many issues and flaws with American democracy. I found that odd.

The Doomsday Dog is kennelled outside Leinster House, cadence rising, the deep breaths, the sonorous voice.

Clare tried to stop him but drove over her like a Churchill tank and he’s still goin.

Interviewing some agent about the inefficiencies of the HSE and the surge of staff contracting covid

    It's all the HSE's fault.

    Pure unadulterated misery porn.

The interview with John Delaney, no not that John Delaney, a sight loss sufferer, was the reason why radio exists.

Well done on the interview Claire Byrne Show.

    Well worth a listen back.

I heard her interview with Barry Cowen earlier when he was on defending Leo. The obvious hint over his sacking came up. "We can get into that if you want" said Cowen to CB...not a peep out of her.

Well played to Cowen when he pointed out the actions of Paul Murphy who its said declined to get involved in govt formation, but instead preferred to sit back and draw the wedge and depend on the grunts to keep his seat safe.

Went up in my estimation after that.

What I find odd is that this is the same Barry Cowan who is said to be in cahoots with Jim O Callaghan to shafts MM

Overall a better show from Claire today - seemed better prepared

    McKenna makes me vomit.

    McKenna makes me vomit.

Not a fan of her recipes then.

The warm, feel good item is really just flogging a book...bet the sales receipts make her feel good.

Once again she overruns, and she makes a hames of the handover to Ronan.

If Trump wins tonight/tomorrow are we going to have 4 more years of a bitter Claire and RTE spouting on about how bad Trump is and much better the world would be if Hilary had won in 2016 and was now going into her 2nd term

Once again she overruns, and she makes a hames of the handover to Ronan.

Anyone who overuns the Ronan Collins show has to be commended in fairness

RC has paid his dues to the music.

Great show, I'll miss him when he retires.

    @manwhohasitall

Same with election coverage last night on RTE and BBC. This is their idea of equality.

    @manwhohasitall

Today?? I think its a consistent theme of her show most days and frequently of RTE

Y'all still climbing over each other to get that fast tracked COVID vaccine, yeah?

No liability on the part of any of the people responsible for deploying the vaccine, so no incentive for them to correct their product.

This is pathetic from CB - the bloody nobody Biden relatives on from Mayo again.
Who the hell cares what these people think?
Or Brendan O'Carroll for that matter.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,016 ✭✭✭littlevillage

Joe Biden's cousins. Wasn't it his great great grandfather who left from Mayo?

That would make these plebs his 7th cousins??

Just for perspective, all other Irish are said to be 5th cousins of each other. (Leaving out the 'new' Irish)

It's the typical vomit enducing and cringe worthy hysteria we see when a potential presidential candidate has an inkling of Irish anncestory has a chance of being elected, the absurd carry on down in Ballina is just embarrassing but equally the bizzare spectacle over in Doonbeg, with locals displaying Trump claptrap is quite disturbing, I sense they'll go all quite this morning. Still getting my head around the absurd Obama plaza, WTF
