Wouldn't be surprised not a regular listener she's no Sarah Mc
Haha, but in fairness, I think the value of that segment was Claire Byrne trying to undertsand the appeal of heavy-metal. It was never going to appeal to heavy-metal fans, but the rest of us probably got a laugh from it.

Kinda expected I suppose but checked out as to see for myself friend was curious what I thought. Maybe he did just dumb it down for this type of thing.

Paul Murphy speaking up for people in "average" houses of around 400k.

    He's an odd left winger.

I'm just astonished houses built after 2013 have been exempted, even more amazed there's not been a legal challenge. I wrongly understood only ghost /unfinished estate's exempt and homes affected by pyrite scandal. I've been paying it from the outset and can not believe the 2013 free for all exemptions, disgraceful actually.

It was a concession based on the high rate of stamp duty they had paid.

Apparently not, it was because a comparable rateable value could not be done, I don't believe it had anything to do with stamp duty

Nathan untypically shy, not wanting to get on the line to Claire, discuss his latest single, what he's been up too during the pandemic, his Birthday party? Oops, let's move on swiftly :)

If you can afford a 400k house, you probably earn a good living, in excess of 45k for each adult.

Murphy standing up for these people. A bit mad.

No more than a self styled environmentalist rallying against pay by use water changes. Or waste charges...

SF, Murphy etc want all these 'magic realism' (imaginary?) taxes instead of LPT.

Why not operate an LPT until these other 'magic' taxes are delivering the goods?

Or else implement both - or all 5, or 6, or 10, or is it 20?

Somebody's gonna have splinters in her big girl knickers today.

CB promo at 9AM. The Housing Crisis; Air B'n'B role to relieve things.

CB leader line at 10:02AM. Are short term lets to blame for the shortage in house supply?

no the government and councils abdicating any responsibility for social housing over the last 30 years is the reason.

The professor fairly demolished the governments strategy of using up their spare AZ vaccines on people in their 60s. It's become obvious now that this decision was not based on science or the supposed strategy of mitigating risk in older age groups. It was based on spin and the need to keep vaccine numbers up to make the government look good.

Did Mills say that AZ will not be given now as a 2nd dose to anyone under 50? i.e. the INMO have won out. But the 350,000 or whatever over 60s will be expected to suck it up.

Local TDs ears to be buzzing, this crowd need a good kick up the arse.

Di you get a bottle of talcum powder with that :)

If you get on your roof, cock your leg up, 5g signal might not improve but you'll be wondering how Did I get here :)

I got Pfizer, dose one, high risk 4 weeks ago tomorrow at GP, have not heard anything about 2nd dose, supposed to be 4 weeks? Normally a weeks notice so if I get notice 5 week gap, I'm not concerned, just worth mentioning

The poor messaging has a lot to do with, along with the coverage on Irish radio and television.

Look beyond these shores and you will know that they are trying to get the second astra zenaca vaccines into arms asap because of the Indian variant.

Vaccine buses etc and a major push 'to get the second vaccine' .

Weeks ago the EU cancelled all future Astra zeneca orders but that ,afaik, was not reported in Ireland.
