Since you've outted yourself there, what is your power/role?

Steve stood out to me yesterday as wolfy, two coincidences perhaps but Steve genies in after being called out for not posting, then he disappears from thread when Wendy whips out the gun! Not a smoking gun but I could see him copping a bullet.

Howdy everyone, I'm ready to get stuck into what I've missed and see what I can come up with, meant to post more last night but last minute change at the fast food joint meant an extra shift.

I was looking at the voting and the way I understand it is the Mod decides any ties, so it's not necessarily the last vote that decides who is lynched?

Is that correct? Can someone confirm?

    Gabriel WW wrote: »
I had read your early posts. I know what you did in relation to the no list post, I just dont get why?

If youre against a no lynch, why be the first to mention it (it appears like you were saying "what do you guys think about no lynch")

I wouldnt have mentioned it at all if I was you, as you're dead against it.

It seems like you were eager.... maybe too eager to jump on Steve...... who jumped on the poetry. In my view you jumped on him, cause he jumped. A bit hypocritical

I was talking in relation to the rules Gabs. No Lynch is always an option. A few posts later I said i was completely against it. No sure what is so hard to grasp here. Do you think that it was just a tactic to mention No Lynch in order to get it into peoples minds despite the fact that its written in the rules????

I said that Steve pointing of the poetry in such a lazy fashion could be a wolf tactic. I explained that. I gave reasoning for it. Steve simply just said "3 wolf poetry team" or something to that effect and just left it at that. If thats hypocritical then so be it

given that mysel and Oisin had a good bit of back and forth yesterday on the poetry I'm not really sure accusing me of pocketing is the way to go here. I agree with his posting today. Far moreso that I did yesterday.

Pocketing is what Oisin did yesterday with the 'l love your ISOs Barbara they're so great'

How am I pocketing if it was me who made the points first Steve?

I said thanks to Barbara because she highlighted the posts in questions whereas I hadnt multi quoted.

Morning all, just caught up now. Not great to lose our jack of all trades this morning. Tess less of a loss given she could have been a future wolf

Seriously? If I’m a wolf in that situation I self pres rather than have someone save me. I left my vote on Mary because she had been trying to have her cake and eat it with her holly vote and playing with the meaning of words. That she’s now decided to focus on me firms it up in my head tbh

I’m also wondering about you vote timing tbh. From the op it’s pretty clear that last vote doesn’t decide things so I’m wondering why you’re clamouring to be seen to have the last vote? I looks like wolfy theatrics to look like a diligent villager. I think you might need a bit more scrutiny mate

    Reaction to the Lynch/Munch
    Nigel WW wrote: »
Does no one read the OP

Far too many folks tripping over themselves to big up their last voter credentials tbh
    Fair point
    Nigel WW wrote: »
Ffa would be useful tbh. There’s a few posters last night who we would have benefitted from seeing an ffa with reasons before the lynch.
Not sure if Nigel did an FFA, couldnt find it but may have

    So this is interesting

The first table is the votes for all players:

    voter
    clodagh frank holly holly
    fiona holly barbara
    oisin steve
    holly mary henry
    henry henry holly henry
    abigal gabriel nigel
    katie fiona
    frank nigel
    steve holly holly
    gabriel oisin oisin oisin steve
    mary riona holly
    vernon frank
    orla clodagh clodagh
    barbara clodagh
    nigel mary
    holly mary
    Phil katie

The second table is the timestamps on those votes:

    Voter
    clodagh 11:51 20:59 21:00
    Fiona 14:38 19:24
    Oisin 14:55
    Holly 17:01 19:08
    Henry 18:33 19:10 20:19
    abigal 18:33 20:53
    Katie 18:44
    Frank 19:50
    Steve 19:50 20:59
    gabriel 20:07 20:19 20:20 20:37
    Mary 20:09 20:42
    vernon 20:22
    Oral 20:25 20:31
    barbara 20:47
    Nigel 20:48
    Holly 20:05
    Phil 20:58

Theres a few things to note from these

A few voters jump around. However there is some ‘double voting’ wherea player re-votes twice in quick succession. Remove this and the max number of votes/player is three

Abi’s vote for me lands at 20.53. this is after I’ve voted Mary and while were discussing her ‘Holly good list’ post. Timing here is strange tbh

Steve re-votes Holly at 20.59. It appears to be a ‘making sure’ vote. Would be useful to get a steer from Steve as to why he was confident enough to do that.

Henrys pattern is odd. Double self vote with a Holly vote sandwiched. Tbh I done really get Henrys play so far
This is interesting is the first line while there is nothing really interesting pointed out outside of normal commentary

I am not sure where he sits with me, dont have a village lean really from this. Again probably not enough to shoot but still a bit ropey

Barbs any opinion on the FFA I put up of Nigel?

Wendy where did that gun go?

  • Forum Games Player Posts: 2,398 ✭✭✭Katie WW

I found it myself. So this is from Silent Hill, apologies if everyone else know this already.

    4. Lynch rules: The votes WILL be published in this game, the data is also available in the lynch thread for players to analyse and interpret freely.

In the event of a tied vote: the lynch will be resolved by the game mod.

How did the MOD resolve it in Silent Hill? Can anyone remember? Presumably he would just decide that last vote is the player lynched?

    hi katie.

re the votes. i dont know how it was resolved. holly had the power to move 1 vote. maybe she acted too late, maybe someone else had a similar power, maybe i dunno?

why's you vote frank last night?

and i make contradictions all the time in this game. its the beauty of being a villager. you dont have to be too careful like the wolves do.

Thanks for the introduction Rikand. :P

Been reading over the thread looking for tasks.

Why not 'lay' of the land?

Poetry by Henry, which was very tasky, but perhaps a bit too blatant to be wolfy.
Frank and then Nigel followed, but I think they were just playing along. Other than that, I notice Clodagh is aggressive and Fiona was quick to jump on Holly on the basis of very little. But rattling trees is a good tactic.

I can't recall a great deal about the movie, although I saw it years ago.
    Intro post
    Katie WW wrote: »
it was Henry who was first with the poetry, then Frank, then Nigel. i don't agree with Clodagh's logic either, although I don't get a wolf vibe from Clodagh. it's his usual tactic in werewolf games to rattle trees (if it is who i think it is). i think Frank and Nigel were just copying Henry. Henry's latest coded post is even more bizarre so I'll be voting Henry as of now, unless something changes and/or he explains himself.

i'm getting a wolf vibe from Fiona. posts fluff, jumps on Holly, votes Holly on the basis of nothing.

    #FFA1
    Henry
    Fiona

    for reasons above.

lots just posting fluff at the moment. it looks like it's going to be a quiet thread. Wendy still is yet to post.

i don't know what Mary's beef is, the Iso on Fiona was fair-she's voted Holly on no solid grounds. a bit suspect.

i'm swinging between Henry and Fiona for a vote.

Henry is too wolfy to be a wolf or wolf working in plain sight and being vague. I might vote Fiona.

Holly was on 2 votes then Fiona changed to Babs.

Only thing we can read so far from votes i'd imagine.

    Throwing this out there again,

From the Holly voters Henry is clearing Mary.

We can shoot and lynch Steve and Clod and see if that clears Henry.

    Half baked idea:
If he's proved right we can assign people to groups during vote and get him to check a specific group. Would need some sort of protection to get through the munch though.
