Try reading my post again. I'm pointing out the poem is a red herring that the village will get stuck on. My own poem is satire. A dying art these days it would seem.

Well a couple of little developments.

One player has made their way to the top of my list.

Steve performed quite the appearing act within 5 minutes of 2 players stating that he hadn’t posted yet.

And then jumping on the poetry stuff.

Now I don’t have any real reads on the poetry yet but it was the way he called it out. Just saying 3 wolves making poems.....

Seems a wolf tactic to just lump the 3 together. An easy finger point for him

Coincidental timing but that's just the way real life works. Perhaps I should have held out until evening time.
Of course it's an easy finger point to point out 1 person doing something weird and two others jumping on the bandwagon within minutes.

Isn't that exactly what you're doing, by pointing out me pointing out poetry weirdness? ;)

That doesn’t make any sense to me

You say that it firstly looks suspicious, what changes to make it not suspicious. His next post is in response to his typo.

I would think it very, very lucky for Frank to have a task to give a poem and that someone else just opens the door for him

Could've just been coincidental timing alright.

Well there's weird and then there's suspicious.

Do you really think that 3 wolves would all choose/have to post a poem all around the same time? And you just said that the 3 of them were a poetic wolf team. Do you have anything to add to that? Like some sort of meaning to the poems and why that would mean they are wolves?

Like I said I dont know what to make of it yet so I'm not going to flat out accuse the 3 of them. But you did. And I believe that could well be a tactic that a wolf would use. Let the village (potentially) waste time looking into the poetry and then you have your choice of 3 to go after come lynch time

In the original player list, I had Regan WW as a player. However, that person is not in the game. it should have been Katie WW. I had an issue with Regan;s account but forgot to update the playerlist at the start :D

Katie is now showing properly in all player lists (i hope)

Yes, it is a suspicious act. But imho doing a suspicions act first is less likely to be wolf than villager, where a wolf won't be as likely to be first at doing said suspicious act, but once that initial act is done, they then feel its safer to do their own.

Early days in a game due to little to go on with the no munch this morning, Steve has been called out for not posting, then highlighted he wont be around till this evening before a flurry of posts. Inconsistent with what he wrote in his first post as he obviously been around. Wolf posting to get himself out of the low/no poster pile is my read right now.

Thanks for the introduction Rikand. :P

Been reading over the thread looking for tasks.
    Riona WW wrote: »

Why not 'lay' of the land?

Poetry by Henry, which was very tasky, but perhaps a bit too blatant to be wolfy.
Frank and then Nigel followed, but I think they were just playing along. Other than that, I notice Clodagh is aggressive and Fiona was quick to jump on Holly on the basis of very little. But rattling trees is a good tactic.

I can't recall a great deal about the movie, although I saw it years ago.

If I genuinely thought they were a wolf team I'd be placing a vote on them right now. I'm not ruling it out as a possibility but a lynch is a long way off yet.

Do I think there's any meaning to the poems? I'd have to crack out my leaving cert english notes to analyse poetry again. Some sort of a task perhaps? Surely nobody would think the wolves would be as upfront as to all complete a task at the same time. and yet...

Clodagh was a tree shaker in my book till this afternoon. I usually like tree shakers, although can be a good way for wolves to hide generally villagers do good tree shaking, early in the game Clodagh is shaking as below.

    Highlighting possible task

Still thinks Holly is a wolf

No tasks? Were we? I remember a notice that there were no actions on night zero, but that didn't say to me that there was no tasks.

Can you find for me where we were told there was no tasks yesterday.
    Very adamant there is tasks
    Clodagh WW wrote: »
It's in the OP, we can vote no lynch, but that would be very unproductive.
    Clodagh WW wrote: »
I didn't throw shade, I noted peculiar stuff.

Where as, holly uses the phrase, "your big furry paws", which is shading the player, implying they are a wolf without just saying, i thing this person is a wolf and i will stand behind my accusations.

I'll vote Holly before i'd vote 'no lynch', and you can take that to the bank.
Pointing out his tree shaking status subtly, moving from Holly is a wolf to I would vote Holly before no lynch. I like this bit

Seems to be moving to the logic of that Nidge is a wolf as he put his poem in second and the wolf wouldnt be brazen to go first. My thoughts are what are the odds that another villager writes a poem which also happens to be a wolf task. So either, Frank is the wolf or Frank and Nidge are wolves trying to complete a task. Its a stretch in my book that Nidge is doing a task and diving in two footed directly after Franks without Frank being a wolf so I disagree with Clodaghs logic.

Ive a wolf lean on Clodagh now tbh

it was Henry who was first with the poetry, then Frank, then Nigel. i don't agree with Clodagh's logic either, although I don't get a wolf vibe from Clodagh. it's his usual tactic in werewolf games to rattle trees (if it is who i think it is). i think Frank and Nigel were just copying Henry. Henry's latest coded post is even more bizarre so I'll be voting Henry as of now, unless something changes and/or he explains himself.

i'm getting a wolf vibe from Fiona. posts fluff, jumps on Holly, votes Holly on the basis of nothing.

    #FFA1
    Henry
    Fiona

    for reasons above.
