I haggled a bit of a deal on a vintage Rolex date just.
Will be my first Rolex and my first buy off watchfinder. Anyone used them before. Watch has no papers or original box. Not worried about that im terms of resale as Ill Likely keep this one forever.

Before I pull the trigger. Has anyone had any previous experimce with the dealer. Good or bad.

    Cheers.

Yes, my wife bought a watch from them a few years ago. There is a period after you receive the watch where you can make sure you’re happy with it. She had it looked over independently before keeping it. All was well.

    Chauffe, Marcel, chauffe!

Reputable dealer, lots of people here have bought from them. It's a good service if you are looking to trade in your watch and don't want the hassle of having to sell your own. A bit like a reputable second hand car dealer specialising in higher end cars. Naturally you would get a much better deal if you sold your watch yourself.

I've bought a couple of Omegas from them and always happy with the service and quality of stock.

Used them a couple of times, they are very good but a bit pricey, saying that, they do have a grail of mine IWC Spitfire Chrono for what I think is a decent price. They do have a Irish website, but still shipped from the UK, but prices in euro

The narrower a man’s mind, the broader his statements.

I imagine it's like buying from AD, boutique etc. - sometimes it's just worth the price premium to buy from someone you know you didn't need to run a background check on, worry about issues, wait for that exact model to come up etc.

Hey - could say the same about buying from microbrands/kickstarters :D or just going in to Weirs and getting a lovely Omega in its nice red case/Rolex in its green one - a lot less potential hassle to deal with (do Weirs still give free sparkling water for clients right now in this pandemic situation?)

And sometimes we're just bargain hunting and want a micro-rotor and aventurine for less than 13k ha :pac:
