Problem with voyager entry system

    I’ve been happily using a voyager entry system for my automated gates For the past 7 years or so. Recently, the SIM card has stopped receiving/sending texts. I can still ring the gate and it will open, but I cannot text any commands to open/close etc. I’ve replaced the SIM card but the issue remains. I’ve gone through the manual, tried texting a diagnostic code to the gate sim to try and identify the problem, but it’s as if texts are blocked.

    I checked the SIM card in my phone and it sent/received a text.

    Can anyone offer any advice please?

    I’ll answer my own question...the trick was to remove the sim, put it in another phone and clear the cache. Bingo, good to go again.
