The schools will probably have the heating up full to maximise the virus spread.

Windows have to be kept open.

a primary school classroom is the probably last place you should work, covid or no covid

I remember not that long back a CF patient was on Liveline telling Joe her ambition was to be a primary teacher.

He is on drugs which make him immunosuppressed

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,636 ✭✭✭urgelgru

At least there's some reason for this guy to be anxious, unlike that student a couple of weeks ago who had zero health issues and no sick family members at home.

We must be the most unhealthy nation on Earth!

Some immune-suppressive drugs are actually sometimes used to treat the most severe complications of Covid, but not everything is known about all that yet.

It's a racket between the GP's and the pharma industry. If you ever have a look around your GP Surgery it's like a Waynes Wurdled spoof the amount of product placement from drugs companies around the place, even the pens are.

Taking Immuno-suppressant drugs... is a teacher...

    Yeah that makes sense.

We do have a very high rate of auto immune genes, and modern treatment can do a huge amount to otherwise normalise the life of many who would be crippled by arthritis etc.

From listening to Liveline I'm beginning to think that about 0.0001% of the population dont have autism and/or an underlying condition

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,886 ✭✭✭✭Roger_007

Shure hasn’t every child in the country a relative in the ‘vulnerable’ category. We might as well just keep the schools closed permanently!

What I took from listening to Norma Foley this past month is a flavour of what it will be like after the next election when people who cant get into the county council one year, top the poll and get a Ministers job the next year (see Wexford for example)

we are a nation of hypochondriacs.

There are plenty of people who are obviously at risk. But not what seems is half the population

It seems any health condition makes you high risk. Asthma, Irritable Bowel, allergy to shellfish.

I have acne, does that mean I'm high risk too?

Caller is a serial radio ringer inner, Liveline, Niall Boylan etc
She once flat out denied to Boylan she ever rang LL then hung up - a bit touched-by-the-radio-phone-in-itis I think, always hyper concerned, helicopter parenting probably

Schools were throwing out the 2 berth desks and replacing them with 1 berth desks, if I had the space I'd store them all and sell them back to them in 2025.

Would Irish mammies consider rattling the wooden spoon around the drawer to see if it will scare corona off?

What's happening now is that the relatively new group of injectable "biologic" drugs, which are now used to treat most autoimmune conditions, also suppress other addicts of the immune system to an extent.
