Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Drawer Hinge Assembly (Noob Q)

    Hey folks,

Somehow managed to take a panel clean off my cutlery drawer yesterday, and can't seem to be able to replace it now.

No parts are broken, I think...

Complete Hinge - This is what the working drawers underneath look like.

    Incomplete Hinge

However, I don't seem to be able to get that little drawer bolt beyond halfway on the rail from the Incomplete hinge.

    Inner "contraption"

The screw in the top right of the hinge seems to open a connector to allow a drawer panel to be removed, but I can't get it to catch one when trying to assemble.

Hoping this makes any sort of sense!
You'll be getting me out of trouble with the missus if someone can help.
Even if i knew what type of hinge it was, I could attack Google!

    Thanks

Generally a drawer front just clicks into place on the drawer box with a little bit of pressure.

If not check for a release. I don't see one on the side so open the drawer fully and take a look underside of the drawer box.

There may be a small button/lever on the underside of the drawer walls.

Turns out you covered it in the first sentence.

Was easier when I took the drawer off the rail.

    Whoops.

    Cheers!
