Wouldn't a reject be someone who was expelled from the Green party, ie they were rejected by the party?

Whereas if you read the story properly, that's not what McDonald is suggesting at all. She's leaving the door open for disillusioned members. That's something entirely different bish you old mischief maker.

Sinn Féin would welcome disaffected Greens who are leaving the Government party in unprecedented numbers this year into their fold

Ms McDonald has all but issued a recruiting call as part of Sinn Féin’s poaching strategy, urging Greens: “to thine own self be true.”

And she added that she believes the Greens are currently part of what she described as “the worst government in the history of the State.”

And they've decided to follow the man who suggested FG use anonymous accounts to promote the party.
No scoop there Kraftwerk, just signs of policy fulfillment maybe?

You might be more at home in conspiracy theories Francie. 6 new twitter accounts haven't tweeted so FG must be up to something? That's pathetically stupid.

I had a look at Mary lou. Last 4 new followers she has haven't tweeted and have no followers. I wonder is it a conspiracy???

Or if we actually use our brains here Francie and not piss ourselves to cry FG are at it again, perhaps new accounts being suggested popular twitter accounts to follow might have something to do with it.... Ya think?

Do you understand the term 'scroll past'?

If it isn't of concern to you - scroll past?

The nefarious suggestion by Leo Varadkar to use anonymous accounts concerns me. Simple. I will post any indications that he is carrying out what he wanted to do. Simple.

If you don't agree, that's fine. Simple. Scroll past, I'm sure you can find stuff to concern you elsewhere.

I assume you would have the same conclusion of Mary Lou's recent anonymous and post free twitter followers also, for consistency purposes?

It's not that I don't agree Francie. It's that the claim you're making is just a ridiculously stupid conspiracy theory.

6 new twitter accounts that haven't tweeted are evicence of FG recruitment drive to set up anonymous accounts for nefarious activities?

Sorry Francie but it's hard to scroll past such utter brain dead ****e. If you don't want to be challenged on your stupid conspiracy theories you might find more gullible ears in the conspiracy theory forum. If you insist on posting it here as part of your usual Shinner whataboutery then I'm afraid you're going to have to deal with the embarrassment when called out on such stupid nonsense.

Absolutely...who are they and why would they be anonymous...who supports such an idea politically one wonders?

What conspiracy have 'I' proposed? Just asking a question...could this be Leo rolling out his suggestion?

You do know he suggested using anonymous accounts? That isn't a 'conspiracy theory'.

You didn't ask any question. You quoted the village idiots tweet about the "mystery" of new twitter accounts following Leo but having no followers. And then claimed it was evidence of FG recruiting and now implying its the rollout of his master plan.

It's 100% conspiracy theory nonsense. And pretty stupid stuff even for conspiracy theorists tbh to think that new twitter accounts not having followers is suspicious!

Pretty sure that is a question Kraftwerk.

Do you think it could be signs of Leo fulfilling a policy Kraftwerk? I think it could be, hence my saying it was signs of somebody else in 'recruitment mode'.

If you don't agree that is your right.

Tut Tut. Now you're just lying Francie. What you posted when quoting the tweet was "Everyone seems to be in recruitment mode:"

For someone so concerned about potential fake accounts you post a lot of lies and misinformation Francie.

No I don't think it could be signs of a government conspiracy to fulfil a secret policy because I'm not clueless enough to think that a new twitter account having no followers is suspicious.

Again. Its not that I disagree Francie. Its that you're posting conspiracy theory nonsense.

So we're all supposed to scroll past Francie's conspiracy theory nonsense, misinformation and lies? While Francie fills a thread about SF with said conspiracy theory nonsense and misinformation about FG?

You've finally hit the bottom of the barrel in terms of arguments. All you have left is "if you don't like my lies don't read them".. Fantastic.

    Now you are just exaggerating.

Leo did suggest using anonymous accounts...anonymous accounts suddenly start following Leo in large numbers as well as other party leaders.

Worthy of note in my opinion...just can't be up to what Leo gets up to in secret.

There is no such thing as FG misinformation, whatever bad thing you heard about them ,its probably true, stuff that is considered scandalous for FF or SF is just standard practice for FG, the reason all the stuff they do gets so little traction is that no one expects any better, if you hear a rumour about your local FG TD doing something criminal you arent surprised, any other party you'd be disappointed,

Something was suggested but never seriously considered 2 years ago. So 6 run of the mill new accounts following suggested accounts now is evidence of recruitment for a secret government policy to use fake accounts to manipulate the public ?

    100% conspiracy nonsense.

How is any of that abusive? That's merely cheerleading for one's desired political outcome. Absolutely nothing wrong with it.

Speaking as a leftist those individuals can go f*ck themselves. Unfortunately there are indeed a lot of those people who support anti establishment movements for entirely nefarious reasons, but it's completely inaccurate and unfair to characterise all SF supporters in this way, as indeed it's completely inaccurate and unfair to characterise all FFG supporters as neoliberal leeches.

Being opinionated and strongly supporting your chosen political aisle and being liberal are in no way mutually exclusive. You'll have to be more specific if this is to be a valid argument.

This is the kind of commentary that pisses me off. Nobody has anything against "anybody who has tried to make anything of their lives". It's those who have done so by exploiting others that we have a problem with. Owning a f*ckload of excess property, hoarding it, and charging exorbitant prices for others to use it does not count as "making something of your life", it counts as being a leech on the economy participating in economic "activity" which should never have been normalised as a means of making a living. If the economic activity through which you make your living does not produce a good or service in exchange for the money you are taking from people, you are exploiting the system.

You may not agree with this, but it's a perfectly legitimate political belief to hold.

Untrue. Their solution to young peoples' economic woes is to take the same top-down approach that previous Irish governments did for decades.

Are you honestly unaware that socialised housing was mainstream for more than 60 years from the beginning of the 1930s? This "the private market dictates everything" model is the aberration, it's an extremely recent bizarre and f*cked up policy which has been causing trouble since its inception. It has existed for thirty years and has only been widely practised since the late 2000s. Before that, housing the population in affordable homes was considered a duty of government. Ensuring a quality of life for citizens was considered a duty of government. The "let them eat cake" approach was adopted by Fianna Fail in the late 2000s and gleefully accelerated by Fine Gael in the 2010s - it is not a longstanding policy.

It amazes me that so many people point to our current paradigm as the "normal" and "proper" way for human civilisation to operate, as if it's been unchanging and set in stone for millennia. The Irish government build hundreds of thousands of homes during the 20th century and only ceased doing so in the 21st, when both of the main parties were totally overcome by greed.

Sinn Fein are merely proposing to turn the clock back by twenty years, to government policies which were far, far better and which prevailed for the majority of the previous decade. Governments looking out for quality of life and providing public services and infrastructure because it's the right thing to do, and not for profit, is the norm. In terms of the history of this state, that norm versus the recent aberration stands at a 60:30 ratio at the very least, and from my own research it's really more like 80:20.

For anyone to look at that 20 and act as if it's the "standard" is absolutely ridiculous.

Sure the Irish state built many houses in the 20th century. Whether this runs to the multiple hundreds of thousands that you claim is questionable.

What you don’t address in your rose tinted view of past state involvement in house building is that very many of these publicly built schemes were a complete failure. Either quickly becoming slums, having huge social issues or requiring constant, expensive repair until their eventual demolition.

How do you know how 'seriously' it was considered? That could just be a theory too.

I asked 'could' it be evidence. And I never said anything about it being a 'government policy'...you exaggerate again with your wild theories Kraftwerk.

    How do you know?
Have you seen the output from YFG and Varadkar? It's Trump level, Trump jnr. in some cases. The then leader of the country suggested setting up anonymous accounts to talk up the party. Do you honestly think there are none?
We've a conspiracy theorist posts often who believes every nasty account is direct from SF HQ. I wouldn't go so far but it's quite likely people of the Varadkar/YFG mentality are trolling anonymously, we know they are trolling anyway. Doesn't need to be in the program for government.

Who said there are none? There's clearly SF and FG shills on here who spend every waking moment promoting and defending their chosen party while pretending to be impartial voters.

But to suggest that 6 new accounts on twitter is evidence of a FG recruitment for nefarious activities because these new accounts have no followers is complete conspiracy theory nonsense. The village idiots are slapping up stupidity wrapped as conspiracy and gullible people like Francie are eating it up and regurgitating it on here as fact. Then you have other posters compounding the conspiracy nonsense by saying that everything bad thing you hear about FG is probably true.

Like I said this is freemen of the land level stuff.

Tis you offering theories you have no way of backing up Kraftwerk. You have been asked yet you keep ranting about conspiracy theories.

Leo suggesting the use of anonymous accounts is NOT a conspiracy theory.
6 anonymous accounts deciding to follow Leo is NOT a conspiracy theory.
Asking a question is NOT a conspiracy theory

Oh it's not me at all Francie:

Village idiots: Suspicious that 6 new twitter accounts have no followers
Francie: Seems everyone is recruiting, look at this!

No question there Francie just implying that these 6 new accounts are evidence FG recruiting. And your proof that new accounts having no followers being FG recruitment is "something was said 2 years ago about anonymous accounts".

I know you will post literally anything to drag the thread off topic and criticise FG Francie. All I'm saying is maybe don't post bull**** conspiracy theories and then lie to try pretend you were just asking questions because even you know its pretty stupid.

I posted evidence that anonymous accounts are being created and are following party leaders.

You don't agree it may be evidence that Leo is following through on a desire to create anonymous accounts.

That's fine. It is not a conspiracy theory, it has the backing of facts, however much you want to deny that and defend.

The only thing that village tweet is evidence of is the village being idiots. No new twitter account has any followers. No new twitter account has any posts. No new twitter account is verified. All new twitter accounts are recommended accounts to follow which include news and political accounts. Those same accounts follow Mary Lou.

You have no facts. You have a stupid twitter post by a ****ty magazine claiming its suspicious that new accounts have no followers which only shows they're idiots.

And you've offered up that stupid **** here along with "Leo said something about using anonymous accounts 2 years ago" as evidence that FG are on a recruitment drive for anonymous accounts lol.

It's 100% conspiracy nonsense and stupid at every level.

Can we get back on topic please? Last time I checked this was a Sinn Fein thread and the last 12 or so posts are about Leo Varadkar. Take it to the appropriate thread.
