Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I think games like this are the ones that make me seriously doubt Ole, Arteta has had less time at arsenal but they have a clear style (he had this after a handful of games), 100 games in I still couldn’t tell you if we want to counter attack, press, sit deep, play long, keep possession etc, it just seems to change all the time. Granted tactics dictate styles to some extent but top managers have a philosophy and by and large stick to it.

Performances like this after the one against Leipzig is exactly why people question Ole as a manager.

I question Ole too, but tbf a sh1te league performance following a midweek European game is not exclusive to his time as United manager...or exclusive to United really. Both us and Chelsea were fairly sh1te last weekend after midweek ties.

Arsenal are playing very well here after a Thursday game, but it's practically a different team to the one who lined up against Dundalk.

The test for me is what Ole can do in the second half, if anything, to change this up and the fact that we can't really get out of our own half.

Matic would be a good sub to make. The team needs to sharpen up though.

We are certainly getting more players ahead of the ball and higher up the pitch

    What was Pogba at there?!

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,924 ✭✭✭KH25

Pogba is putting in some good work but he’s overplaying it too much.

  • Site Banned Posts: 20,685 ✭✭✭✭Weepsie

For every bit of good Pogba does, he seems to follow it up with something god awful. I'd be hauling him off and having fred in the middle to harry people and speed it up.

Its not happening for Pogba today.
Time to sub him for VDB or Mata

    VDB for Pogba asap

    Donny and Cavani on please

I'd like to see Cavani on as well as VDB.

Something different up top, hasn't worked so far for Rashford or Greenwood.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,924 ✭✭✭KH25

    Arsenal deservedly in front.

    Pogba undeservedly wearing the shirt.

  • Site Banned Posts: 20,685 ✭✭✭✭Weepsie

If Shaw can't put pressure on a winger, he has no business being a regular starter at the club. He's good at some things, but defensively he's not up to it at fullback

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,369 ✭✭✭✭Liam O

    Pogba and McT off please.

    Cavani and Donny on.

Never ever want see that waste in a United shirt again

I'm not a tactical guru like a lot of you on here. But gosh I can't stand Paul Pogba - IMO he adds nothing to the team. He needs to go. He has an odd good game - very big of him. Overall he's a total liability.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 3,948 ✭✭✭0gac3yjefb5sv7

We play so much better without Pogba. Please get 60m for him and say good luck.

    Apart from the 3 points.

What I want to see from Ole is pulling Pogba early if he starts any dilly dallying.

    Too predictable.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,461 ✭✭✭✭Zeek12

    Can't have too many complaints.
The better team are ahead. And was a silly challenge to make.

Hard to see us turning this around, but need Cavani on very soon.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,924 ✭✭✭KH25

Come on Ole, make the change!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,821 ✭✭✭✭yourdeadwright

Called it here midweek that United would struggle today once you go to Old Trafford and respect United and be pragmatic you have a chance

Its bizzare to see them constantly play like the away team at home

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,303 ✭✭✭✭Father Hernandez

How is that a foul and a yellow for Greenwood, he won the ball?
