Great chance for Higgo here, Hadley looks very shaky, nobody else seems to want to win

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,692 ✭✭✭Dr. Bre

    Go Higgo!

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,767 ✭✭✭Deeper Blue

What a talent, 4 wins already

People go on about McIntyre but Higgo is what a real potential star looks like

    Imagine if Higgo was Scottish

    And both are lefties too.

Higgo is an immense talent. McIntyre is as well. Higgo.is ice cool though, nothing fazes him.

DJ is now third on the all time PGA tour money list, he passed Furyk this week. Career earnings now $71,605,482 and he's about 23 million behind Phil in second.

A pointless ranking. You will have journeymen ahead of the likes of Jack and Palmer because of the money involved

I'm not sure many casual (or not so casual) fans would have had Furyk up there in the top 3 until last weekend... Or Singh still in the top 5.

It doesn't include the FedEx cup bonuses either so there's a few on there that have probably earned 15 or 20 million extra from that.

Some of the names on that list are unbelievable when you look at them. The likes of Jerry Kelly - 3 tour wins, none since 2009, and he’s earned $30m in his career.

In total, there are 206 players in PGA tour history that have earned at least $10m. It’s crazy when you look at the numbers.

Good playoff between Hickok and English !

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,767 ✭✭✭Deeper Blue

Even though they've both made 6 pars in the playoff it's been great to watch

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,037 ✭✭✭Cosmo Kramer

This playoff is ridiculous. I have to be up in a few hours but I've stuck with it this far...

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,037 ✭✭✭Cosmo Kramer

14 pars between the two of them and on they go.

  • Registered Users Posts: 38,513 ✭✭✭✭eagle eye

Joint second longest in history now on the PGA tour, longest is eleven holes.

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,023 ✭✭✭youcancallmeal

I wish they'd just go all out buggys at this point

And in that one they gave up after the 11th and shared the win. I can't see them getting past 10 here with the light.

I think it finishes on this one.

15 pars, and finally a birdie. A real shame for Hickok though, he needed it more.

A second will help him a lot, big fed ex points and money.
Should put him in the top 150 and a great chance to make the fed ex playoffs.

Well done to English but is there anything to be said for making 18th hole pin position easier to prevent this kind of thing happening. Gutted for your man Hickock, as the commentators kept saying it would've been life changing for him

  • Registered Users Posts: 38,513 ✭✭✭✭eagle eye

Just checked and Hickock now 69th in the Fed ex cup. English now 2nd.

Yet another great round by Seamus Power today. Finished with 3 birdies in a row for a bogey free 6 under 66 and currently tied second just one shot off the lead. If he can keep this run of form going, he should secure his card for next season and maybe more.

Sounds like Bryson’s caddie has quit overnight. Very very interesting development.

Fair play to him for sticking around so long.

Looking like Chambeau missing cut. Shouldn’t have sacked the caddy!

Finished with a bogey free 67 today. Currently tied 6th and almost certain to finish in the top ten, which will get him into next week’s tournament. Definitely seems to have found a run of form and should make it into the playoffs if he can keep things going.

Already in next week's field anyway, 4th consecutive top 20.
