Pussy galore

Hi, I've never built a pc before and wouldn't know the first thing about what parts to get. The main reason for the pc is i have been playing dayz on console and want to play that on pc.

I will also need a monitor. I would like to budget 1000 but can stretch over it if needs be. Thanks for any help as i don't know where to start.

I'd suggest an AMD based system as they offer the best value for money. The Ryzen 5 3600 should be doable within your budget. Video Card (aka Graphics Card / GPU) I'll need to play with the builds to suggest one, but the best you can afford in budget basically.

Monitor wise would 24" be big enough? I'm thinking a 1080p (Full HD) panel within this budget. A decent refresh (Hz) of the display is a key thing to look at for First Person Shooters like DayZ.

Drawbacks with a prebuild like that is the very entry level motherboard and undisclosed Power Supply. There's a few of us happy to build machines if you order the parts. I'm in D5 if that's any help.
