I have a job at the moment with a property which is serious about air tightness, it has a full membrane,
I been asked to install sockets with out chasing up and down ,
Is there a Reg about chasing horizontal, each room is going on it’s own rcbo,
    Thanks

    Rule 522.6.4

    Safe zones horizontal and vertical

Earthed metal conduit for anything other than horizontal and vertical

Are you talking about chasing solid walls/brick/block or plasterboard?

Afaik you cannot chase as far horizontally in this scenario as you risk compromising the integrity of too many bricks and thus the wall itself.

Vertically its fine as its a tiny section of wall, but horizontally you are cutting out a full strip across each block/brick...
