Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Pre-purchase car inspection for BMW in Dublin?

    Hey Guys,

    Was hoping someone could help me out here as I'm not having much luck on Google.

    Have a deposit down on a BMW 330e with a 2 year warranty from a dealership.

    I'm hoping to get someone out to inspect the car this week and do a thorough check on the car but I'm struggling to find a reputable company to do so.

    Can anyone here recommend someone/company that will do this?

    AA no longer do it but they do list those who do here:

    If I were you I would get a BMW independent to check it.

    Breach Motor Works (BMW) in Walkinstown might do it, Bloomfield Garage are BMW specialists as well

    I was on to Bloomfield earlier on but they won't do it as they don't have the staff to spare to go out and inspect it. I'll give Breach Motor Works a shout and see what they can do.

    Are you buying from a BMW Dealership ? Is the warranty a full BMW warranty?
    If yes to both you will be pretty well covered. However I would still have it inspected.

    Not through a BMW dealership

    But it's under a car protect bumper to bumper warranty for 2 years

    Could you not drive it there or to another mechanic on a test drive? Chelmsford Motors in Ranelagh has an ex-BMW mechanic.
