Hi all, thinking of heading out for somewhere in Dundalk for a meal on Friday.

Never been out for food here so would be nice to get somewhere good.

A good pub grub is something we like but very open minded to other options too, were more familiar with Blackrock.

    I'd recommend:
    The Square - Market Square
    Lennons - Castletown Road
    Atami - Clanbrassil St

    For pub grub:
    Windsor - Dublin St
    Rum House - Park Street

Brubakers food very nice - pizza, wings, chips etc. Good atmosphere and dining area is under a glass roof so has a nice outdoors feel to it.

Windsor restaurant upstairs is well regarded, food is a great standard and would be more restaurant standard than general pub grub.

Market Bar - Tappas bar, not for everyone but a bit different and have a nice range of craft beers/cocktails too.

The Jockeys on Anne St do nice grub as well.

The square, the townhouse and atami. The rest are fairly forgettable unless you just want a big massive dinner.

    This.

But, I have tried Atami a few times and found it only ok. Couldn't agree more otherwise.
