Wtf are you on about? White society? Sounds like a ****ing KKK meeting in here.

You are probably the only one who knows what a KKK meeting sounds like.

Use a description we can relate to.

The Klan and many Woke/modern Left have the same problem with Jews. Wonder if we looked at your posts, would we find interesting ones.

Shakespeare, Beethoven etc are examples of White excellence.
    LOL, ok chief.

This thread has become doubly entertaining with the addition of the right-wing mouthbreathers to the mix.

WASP is both racist and an example of religious intolerance. I suggest you take a good look in the mirror before insulting people of good character.

    What?

Just the greatest cultural, intellectual and philosophical transformation the world has seen. It advanced ideals such as liberty, progress, toleration, fraternity, constitutional government and separation of church and state for a start. Throughout Europe. For 2 centuries. It is the bulwark of European culture.

    What is white culture?

It's an evolution of ideals and beliefs over time, coming from different sources, but with it's own set of reasons for them existing.

Take "being a gentleman", "protecting women", or "protecting the weak", or "providing for the weakest members of society". All are ideas that are present in western cultures... but you won't find them in other cultures in the same manner as in "White" nations.

It was one of the biggest shocks of living in Asia, to realise that weaker (physically, financially, etc) wouldn't be protected. Life is cheap. Whereas in the west, while historically life was cheap, our cultures had evolved to share a common belief that life wasn't cheap. Or the hitting of women. Traditionally, in the west, it was a big no no to hit a woman, often with strangers stepping in to stop it from happening. You won't find that in other cultures, except through their exposure to modern western culture. China, for example, has no traditional belief that women should be protected from physical violence. Oh, they protect them in other ways, but it's more in line with older western beliefs.

What is white culture? It's a combination of cultural beliefs and values that over time have become shared and accepted. You don't generally find the same thing with Asian culture, except where the family unit is held to the highest importance, which while there are some similarities in the West, it's not taken to the same extent.

There's also a unifying aspect that should be remembered. Western civilisation had the unifying aspect of the Catholic religion which forced conformity of beliefs, and the values that arose either in support or in opposition of it. Catholicism had a formal hierarchy, structure, and set doctrine. There is no similar unifying force for most other national groups, except for Islam (which is different depending on location and has no center), or communism/socialism (which are modern influences)

I'd say it comes down to values that various western national groups share, which often aren't present in other groups, or if they do exist, most have been adapted or forced on to them, by either colonialism, imitation (of more successful societies), etc.

I can't wait to hear how a virus that can infect anyone is sexist (and no doubt racist, homophobic, etc as well).

In a weird way, I'm glad the SJW's are claiming Covid is racist/sexist. It exposes their insane worldview in a very stark way. The waters can't be muddied with falsehoods and disinformations in the same way that issues such as black deaths at the hands of the US police and the mythical "gender pay gap" are.

Rugged individualism and the communist utopia are incompatible it seems.

None of this has anything to do with race. Why call it 'white culture'?

This is just projecting everything through the prism of race, same as the woke left do.

White history and culture extends to ancient Greece.
    Oh right yeah, of course.

Emma can't dispute anything. She can only get offended and launch insults. Haha.
You think an ancient Greek comes from the same culture as a modern nordic. Clown :D

It's a complete coincidence that Emma showed up after Sorcha got threadbanned.

It's the foundation of White Western civilisation.
    Okey dokey.

****ing comical stuff lads, giving the ****ing retards on the mad left a run for their money here. There is a homogeneous 'white' culture which runs from ancient Greece to today all across Europe and into the colonies it seems. If only someone had noticed this before you geniuses , it might have prevented a bit of bother over the last twenty seven centuries.

    :D

Err.. you phrased the question.. which I answered. Why didn't you just ask what was western culture? Instead, you chose to use the phrase "white" culture.

Of course it has to do with race, because for activists everything is about race.

In any case, Western civilisation came about from "white" people (white seems to include Mediterranean peoples on the European side). The most influential civilisations the world has seen, considering the scope of influence it has had over modern history and culture.

I asked what white culture was and you described some things common in European culture.

Of course western civilisation came about from "white" people, white people lived in the western part of the world. Who else would it come from?

It's obvious that you didn't really read my post because I explained how there can be a common culture above the national/localised cultures. Which is pretty logical if you understand anything about culture.

The manner of your posts suggest that you're not seeking honest debate here, and just looking to pull triggers.

This is an after-hours thread for laughing at idiots, not your university debating society. Some of the ideas posited here by the 'anti-woke' are ****ing braindead. 'White culture' my hole, ****ing gob****es.

    *shrugs

Not my fault that you're offended.

Not to worry. No matter what you say "She/him/it/.." will be offended. It's not about what you write or say.

    Never mind.
    indeed.

The idea that there is some overarching 'white' culture that spans every nation, every language, religion, government type, every era since ancient Greece just because a group of people share a common ancestry is ****ing laughable.

****eing on about your 'whiteness' is cringeworthy stuff. We're Irish, not ****ing 'white'. You all sound like ****ing yanks.

    Why is 'Emma' so angry?

    White privilege I guess.

    Why is 'Emma' so angry?

Because everything must be taken to an extreme, which makes her/him/it emotional, and prone to outbursts. Along with the desire to demean others because they understand/appreciate concepts that she can't wrap her head around, because again, he/she/it see's everything through the prism of extreme victimhood. The self assigned victim becomes the bully.

Not sure if you missed it earlier, but the talk about "white culture" was not being introduced by the people in the thread.
It was discussed as a direct result of the what the anti yoga appropriation person in the linked article was saying.

Apparently she had claimed or insinuated that white people had no culture and so that lead to a discussion about what "white culture" might be etc.

Hopefully that has given some context for you.
Maybe you can dial it back a bit now and not be so upset about people discussing it?

Is this supposed to be sarcasm or what?

The irony of you slagging yank woke culture and then insisting on adopting american tropes around 'whiteness' is gas.

The idea of white culture has been affirmed and explained by several individuals since. They sound like MAGA heads tbh, but the irony of slagging this yank nonsense from a right-wing yank perspective is lost on them.

They are just as comical as the woke left.
