That is really great news. Really. I actually teared up a bit. I’m very interested in bioethics and medical ethics going back to my degree days and I was scarcely able to believe that so many countries were allowing this deeply unethical experimentation on minors to happen and for a country to make a bold, decisive step like this is really heartening.

If anything, though, this would strenghten the argument for having him portrayed by someone from an enthic nimonirty.

That makes sense - if you have a wider range of backgrounds (and by backgrounds, I mean jobs, positions, careers, life experiences as much as race) then you have a better chance of a wider range of ideas or solutions. If everyone is from the same backgraound and is of the same mindset, you're less likely to get that variety.

Not saying it's true though.

Of course, the counter to that is that it's also more likely to being about division and conflict and less likely to produce a consensus on anything positive.

Thats the thing, even without forcing it we are a diverse species based on different lives lived.

Colour of skin/gender etc isn't the only diversity, there are so many types. Yet only certain ones are pushed.

Also it is a massive secret to me they are more successful, they might be, they might not be, its more down to the individuals then the fact the team is "diverse"

This sort of corporate ****e just annoys me as someone who was told about our "far reaching and far impacting" diversity initiatives recently with no metrics, and were told without explanation managers will get "diversity points" soon
