Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Sky dish on 3rd floor flat roof

Does sky have a height limit on installing a dish at home? I want one on the back of an old house accessible from a 3rd floor flat roof about 9 metres up, but I was told that sky would not install a dish that high for safety reasons and that I would need to get an independent installer. Is that correct?

    Thanks

Well, if thats what Sky told you then that must be the case and you would then need to go down the independent route ok.

It might depend on how the roof can be accessed .......

I haven't contacted sky to install yet, but I've read on UK sky forums of homes being 'blacklisted' for health and safety reasons with no hope of getting sky installed. I'm hoping to get an independent installer to install it now while the builders are on site and then hopefully sky will just hook up the box and not worry about where the dish is.

Any recommendations for installers in south Dublin area?

    Thanks

That’s what I had to do 4 years ago. In the U.K., they have a heights team but unsure if there is a similar team here.
