That rain heading towards Mayo looks fairly heavy shouldnt last too long though...

Latest radar now shows more rain coming in behind it now though

Windy and cloudy here now it was a half decent day...this morning was decent this afternoon less so.

The grey came eventually to Dublin and has been cloudy for a while now. Hopefully tomorrow fares better.

Waterford has been practically dry for a week. I'm shocked!

Sunny morning but clouded over and a bit blowy this afternoon.

Same to your north, constant deluge since around 1pm, lights on all evening and will be drawing the curtains soon. Definitely a night for the fire

Radar looks unreal for rain. Bypassing us here so far. Meath. Warm dry morning. It attempted to rain an hour ago but passed. Very breezy now.

it was nice here till about 2pm then the cloud rolled in and the breeze picked up and feeling fairly chilly now and fire lit. Should be warmer from tomorrow for a few days.

Clouded over and gone quite windy, cold too. Still didn't stop me from power-washing the path.

It was a beautiful sunny morning here in NCD but cloudy from 1 on + chilly aswell but it is autumn so to be expected.

The most depressing thing is the dark evenings. Its pitch black now and only 8pm.

I'm now back in work + no longer wfh so in another few weeks won't be able to get out for walk in evenings before it gets dark.

Its going to be a long winter. I think the clocks shouldn't be put back this year for everyone's sanity. Its not a normal year anyway so they could make an exception.

Got a great day here in Kerry today, Sunshine and passing cloud much of the day and increasingly clear towards evening. Wind picked up throughout the day and quite breezy this evening, I see the W Got up to 94 km/h earlier.

Got up to 17.9C and still relatively mild at 16.6C.

Surprised at how windy it got here earlier this evening. A warm wind through and not unpleasant to be out in in just a light teeshirt.

Beautiful here in Meath, plenty of sunshine and 20C, one of the best days we've had since June the 2nd.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,972 ✭✭✭appledrop

Stunning day here in NCD. It is fairly windy, here in Newbridge house so I wouldnt advise going to coast, much more enjoyable to go to park.

Enjoy it while you can! Barbecue this evening. Last one of the year.

fingers crossed Tuesday might be another day just as good as today. Tuesday will probably the last day we will reach 20C until next May or June. Definitely make the absolute very most of today as there is no guarantee of sunshine tomorrow or Tuesday.

Cooler air takes over from the east from Wednesday and it could be quite cool by the weekend. It does look reasonably dry over the next 7 to 10 days.

Once again, it seems the south east of the country is under cloud while the north is getting warm sunshine. Should rename it to the rainy south east. :D

Stunning day in Dublin 23C. Was in Wicklow earlier on the beach and it was the same. As posters above said, definitely make the most of today!

22C now at Dunshaughlin combined with sunshine, a rare treat this year.

    23C reported at Phoenix Park.

On the west Donegal coast today and haven't seen more than 5 minutes of sun all day, satellite is a bit misleading. Dry and mild at least so still one of the better days this month
