Of course Chris Wallace was biased against Trump. I called that one. Wallace interrupted Trump something like 35 times. He didn’t interrupt Biden once. Also, Wallace kept pushing left-wing talking points to help Biden out and hurt Trump.

He interrupted Trump because he was shouting over Biden when he was trying to answer the question. Should the moderator just left Trump to ramble on and on and on and on and on?

If team Trump was smarter in this campaign, he would have went hard after the Hispanic vote, he's doing quite well there but he could be doing even better with a bit more targeted campaigning. They were/are ripe for the taking, a lot of Latinos in America are conservative especially those who fled failed socialist states like Venezuela and Cuba. I did see Trump was a resounding winner on Telemundo poll on who won the debate, one of the main Spanish channels.

Trump was never going to do well with the Black vote. He's tried and he has improved but there was much more scope for growth with Latino voters. Also appears Trump is doing worse with older Americans this time presumably due to Covid pandemic. I think Trump made a mistake sticking with Mike Pence. Pence does nothing for Trumps elections chances. A Nikki Haley or some Latino like Marco Rubio or someone would have been much better.

Sorry what? Trump has "tried and he has improved" with black voters

As others have said elsewhere, there should be a switch to turn off the mic when your time is up so you can't just keep talking over others.

That way, at least that blithering buffoon Trump wouldn't be able to constantly interrupt people with his bollocks talk.

As a debate, it wasn't even worthy of the moniker. But, aside from that, Trump made his usual show of himself and tried to bring things down to his abominably low level, to the point where he had to be told off by the moderator several times. He acted like a 5 year old child.

Come on, man... Biden did the same thing shouting over Trump, and Chris Wallace did the same thing shouting over Trump. The only one that got taken to task over it was Trump.

You can ignorantly accuse me of "whataboutism," but what it really is involves identifying similar scenarios in order to see if it holds up when the shoe is on the other foot!

I see he mentioned Antifa, but most media are leading with the so called threat from white supremacists.

Can you imagine if white groups were carrying on like BLM and Antifa have been this summer. People would be howling from the roof tops. Something very off and sinister about the topics the media are choosing to push.

Did you miss the below? Also the fact that the US law enforcement has far right groups as a much higher threat (to the point Trump administration put pressure on them to change it)

I get it, you're invested at this stage to the point where you cannot bring yourself to say a bad word about trump but the fact is Trump used his usual bully boy tactics to try and shout over both Biden and Wallace and he was handed his ass on a silver plate for it.

Maybe in the next debate he will show a bit more decorum and respect for both his opponent and the moderators and let them speak when its their turn. I dont believe he will, I think he is too thick to allow a fair debate but hey, we live in hope.

It's the same reason that the unruly child in a classroom is also the one most often told to sit down.

If you constantly try to speak over people when it isn't your turn to talk, you will get interrupted by the moderator.

Dear leader will not be questioned. If he was being interrupted, there is no way that it could be because of his own actions. Dear leader cannot be at fault.

Polling is a science and the only kind we have that could "point us to the science that you claim supporters of Trump are ignoring because they do not believe in science"

I don't know what else you want are you asking me to find a formula for a chemical compound that can read minds?

You brought science into this...if you'd said polling data you'd have saved us time.

Polling data on this topic is a joke...the data that isn't interfered with for political reasons is all that matters, and I'd imagine, there isn't too much of that out there either!!!

Sure did watch it. I know what I saw. Perhaps it's you who are too invested and unable to say a bad word about Biden.

The next debate will be hosted by CSPAN. CSPAN's methods on their regular programming won't help anyone out if they follow that format for the debate. What CSPAN does is pose a question and just let the guests talk and say their piece. They don't challenge anyone on lies or inaccuracies. They let it up to the opposing side do that. If that is the case the debate will be little more that R & D talking points, not a debate.

Typical it doesn't suit you so it's fake news.

Yes but they are not allowed to just ramble on and talk over their opponent the way Trump tries to. If he does try that again I would expect moderation to call him up on it and you'll be here the following day crying about the unfairness of it.

Steve "Everything Trump touches, dies" Schmidt of the Lincoln Project has a lengthy commentary on the debate on MSNBC. This nugget though, is really telling:

"2020 and 2016 are different elections. Everybody in the media is understating Biden's strength right now and overstating Trump's because no one wants to be wrong again. Joe Biden has the biggest lead of any Presidential candidate in the modern era. It's the biggest, the broadest, the most durable lead you've seen in the modern era and that lead is going to get bigger, not smaller, after this debate."

    Hmmm... Only Trump, eh?

They both rambled, and Biden stumbled some but didn't across as a total bumbling fool, so his campaign could consider that a win, I guess. Face it Trump got in more clearer statements during the debate, and Biden came across as a shifty politician with mere talking points and no substance.

And that might be good to challenge BOTH candidates on some matters, but that's not the way CSPAN rolls.

So what you're saying is that small hand Trump got pwned by big boy Biden? And Biden got away with it! Poor little Donald.

Not at all. Trump won the debate with clearer and more precise statements, despite the fact that the deck was stacked against him.

And oh how disappointing that that must have been for you. How many months of "sleepy joe" and "obvious cognitive decline" did we have to listen to and then out comes Biden and slaps Trump down for the loud mouth he is.

Trumps probably still wondering what happened to him, I'd say that's the first time in his life he's ever been told to shut up, and being called a clown not once but twice!!!! He's probably hiding in his bunker and asking his security detail if its safe to come out yet.

President Donald Trump signed legislation Tuesday that will devote nearly $3 billion a year to conservation projects, outdoor recreation and maintenance of national parks and other public lands following its overwhelming approval by both parties in Congress. Supporters say the Great American Outdoors Act is the most significant conservation legislation enacted in nearly half a century.

No, the fact that Chris Wallace should have been wearing a 'I'm for Biden' campaign button on his lapel.

Mark my words... It was so bad for Biden that his campaign will be looking for ways and excuses for him to get out of the next two debates.
