Of course they don't. They've been conned into thinking that they are voting for "their" team. When in reality, the waving a flag for Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee.

American politics is a coin flip. There may be two sides, but it's still the same penny.

    Sounds very defeatist.
If you had been in power for the last 4 years , Im pretty sure you wouldnt be saying that. Or maybe you would .
Heck if its all the same why are both sides spending billions to win it.

Anyways it dont matter much, the biggest prize is up for grabs and its still all to play for .

And no denial from Camp Trump yet so that must mean it's true. Why hasn't Trump denied it? The only reason is that he did have him killed. Guilty until proven innocent.

You would wonder what the jaysus the democrats are at having absolutely nobody turning up to the Biden events.. surely they could have rounded up a couple of thousand to go to them..

I wonder was it down to trying to avoid sensory overload for poor aul Joe?..

Perhaps they are trying to avoid the Covid outbreaks that trumps rallies have caused.

Difference being, I'm quoting someone who got it right in 2016 (calling a Trump win) whereas as you lot are quoting the same polls that got it spectacularly wrong.

    One from each account:

    https://twitter.com/Politics_Polls/status/795667284127645696
    https://twitter.com/TheEconomist/status/795813773676265472

The national polls were fairly accurate in 2016.

The democratic state polling in 2016 was way off the mark. Nobody on the democratic side predicted Hilary would not reach the electoral quota of 270. I think she finally ended up with 224 electoral votes in the end? Not meeting the quota was a shock to the democratic party/

The pollsters have had 4 years to correct the mistakes, and it'll be interesting to watch if the errors here are not repeated again?

Most of the state polls have Biden winning comfortably. Right now you can believe it maybe true Biden winning. The only vote that matters is the one on the 3th of November.

Trump had 4 years in the office of President of the United states. He's not had a good time in 2020 with Covid 19 rampant in the US and the riots against the police. It may be the year undecided voters remove him?

Trump won the blue states by a small margin, it not take much in the way of votes to swing them again. Polling suggests Biden support is strong on the ground in the Trump blue states, but time will reveal all!

    Where did he promise this?

Ohio, Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania.. numerous other places he held rallys in 2015 and 2016.
The left should have watched them, they might have learnt something.
instead they all clicked on the cllick bait about 1 comment he made in a 90 minute speech to potential voters. I used put the rally videos up in the Politics thread but they were removed , something about vidoes of a TRUMP rally were not approriate in a thread about TRUMP.

Many voters were swayed by this commitment.
40+ Federal court appointees (thank you OPbama for leaving the seats empty)
    3 SCOTUS appointees
    promise delieverd on .. boom.
My kids will get to enjoy the legacy of Trumps judicial changes for their lifetime.
    Gorsuch, Kavanagh, Barrett..

Really? What legacy will the children you claim to speak for 'enjoy'?

    Go through them for us.

What I'm asking is which group in particular do look forward most to the court victimising or oppressing on behalf of your children?

    The gays?, Blacks?, Latinos?...

the US Constitution , if they uphold that then no one has to worry.

The left are just stirring the frenzy, no wonder kids nowadays are stressed. The left is always screaming the sky is falling in.

All this talk of oppression yet if I asked you to tell me a case where any of Trumps appointees ruled agaisnt those demagraphic groups you would have to spend 20 mins on google to find one and understand the ruling.

You see .. your fear mongering.. but have no idea what your fear mongering about.. you only have conjecture , an opinon formed on the basis of incomplete information.

At this stage the left should be ashamed of the damage they have done to the mental health of this current generation, they have done nothing but destroy any hope they have. Every morning for 4 years its been headlines about the sky falling in and Trump admin is to blame. No wonder they are freaked out and cant cope.

Trump offered hope, get up in the morning , get off your ass, get a job and we wontover tax you and will cut down on regulation.

The left offrered , get up in the morning, look in the mirror, find a minority or percieved oppressed group you can align with, make a sign and then go out and tell everyone else its thier fault... pathetic role models the lot of ye.

Biden looks like an extremely poor candidate. I'm not sure why the Democrats could not find someone better than him.
Initially I thought Biden would win easily - given what was happening in USA with BLM, Covid plus the Trump circus. However, I now think that Trump has got a chance purely due to the ineptness of the Biden campaign and things like muddling the name of your opponent plays really badly with the electorate.

Biden needs to get the ship turned around as Trump was a lot stronger in the last debate, Bidens son and now the "George" incident and these needs to be put to bed.

Feel free to fill in the electoral map and show us your results. Let us know how you chose the 'swing' states. https://edition.cnn.com/election/2020/electoral-college-interactive-maps

Joe Biden when he has campaigned has been speaking to people, while Donnie is raging to blow a blood vessel that communists/socialists are coming to take their health care, their SS, their guns etc

The sky is certainly falling, in on top of Donnie because he now has a record to defend..

Yep and the current White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany has said similar. She's a liar, but she ain't stupid.
"I think the Republicans run into a problem if it is Joe Biden and if it is maybe a Trump on the other side," McEnany said on local New York's AM970. "Because Joe Biden, one of the things he is remarkable at is really kind of being a man of the people and resonating with middle class voters. Feeling like -- coming off as human. His gaffes -- as much as we make fun of them -- to a certain extent they make him look human. So not, since he's likable."

Nonsense, he's helped put out fires. Fires started by BLM. Meanwhile the democrats raised money to bail out such scumbags.

yep CNN are trying to win the Medias most idiotic 'chyron' (caption on the bottom of screen) prize this year.

Remember the one they had during the riots .
Their reporter was standing in front of burning cars and buildings .. and the chyron/caption at the bottom read 'MOSTLY PEACEFUL PROTESTS' ...

Someone said something nasty about a rock star he adored when he was 12 years old so now he hates the dems.

The fact the same rock star has said he wouldn't support trump doesn't seem to matter now.

It's funny that the DNC are seen as anyway left leaning, they are firmly in the centre, and probably most similar to FG in Ireland, GOP are probably more like FF/SF, swaying with the wind with whatever policy is flavour of the week, donny is a bit like Paul Murphy, pretty useless, but needs constant applause or he'll fade away.
