I hire all the best people.

WOULD hire and that he went on to make errors does not make it a lie.
I have a healthcare plan ready to go.

Hardly a lie and he said in the 60 Minutes interview it wasn't complete.
The virus is going to fade away to nothing.

Being positive is not a lie.
No President has been more unfairly treated than me.

Context. He was referring to the media and only a liar would say that was not true.
Nobody has done more for the Black people than me.

Other than Lincoln he means and for someone to be lying they have to not believe what they are saying. I believe Trump has worked so hard to address issues that the black community face that he believes that his administration are right up there in that regard, especially in comparison to recent Presidents who ignored their concerns, often to the degree of worsening them.
There were good people on both sides.

There were. Not only Neo-Nazis protested against the removal of that statue or renaming of that park.

Jebus, was that it?? You all call Trump a liar on the regular and claim that he has told 20,000 of them, and this is your list of his worst lies?? :p
And actually asking for people to not respond with documented evidence of his lies like an ostrich with their head in the sand just adds another layer to this.

The reason I asked people not to respond with the crap from those to propaganda outlets, and list what they feel are personally his worst lies, is because I have addressed many users posts already were all they did was cut and paste from them.

There is bipartisan pressure to at the very least change some of the wording of section 230. It would be better to remove it altogether.

Ah look I could be wrong, but I don't see much changing in that space, 230 is needed IMO.

That's a good one, I must remember that.

Read the post again Pete. You missed the list of ten.
You're excuses for the ones I added, are just that excuses blinded by your devotion. Someone else has previously posted all the individual times he has said a healthcare plan was coming in the next couple of weeks. Every time he did so, and it did not come to pass, he was lying. As he was still doing on 60 minutes.
What has he done for Black people? Aside from stay out of the way of the efforts of the Obama administration with respect to employment numbers. He granted a smaller percentage of pardons than Obama did also, yet crowed about it like he had done more than anyone ever before.

What do you think were his worst lies, given that you are no longer arguing that he isn't a liar.

He’s gonna win tho. At least that’s how it seems.
The polls are not worth a whole lot. But seeing liberals (I mean actual liberals) move away from places like CA isn’t a good sign.

I think he is gonna win, Twitter, Reddit, Boards or any other online platform don’t represent the population. Moderation of content to the point where it’s election interference alienates the general public. We have seen it multiple times on boards.

No matter who wins, protection of free speech should be a priority. I don’t know that Biden is bad for free speech, but the Democratic Party don’t demonstrate their belief in free speech for all.

How would you feel if someone stated that your work colleague told them that you had left your phone unlocked and they opened it and saw child porn playing on it?

Do you think that that should be allowed?

Or, say someone simply said that you gave them a lift home from work, which you had done, and that in your car were some items you had stolen from work and they saw an account on ebay selling such items with a similar username as your nickname and they're pretty sure its yours.

Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter etc have to make a determination as to whether content is 'likely' to be true or not and to have grave doubts about something, but allow their platform to be a conduit to that being widely communicated is not they should just willingly allow to happen.

    I think Trump will win.

A very close friend who works on Wall Street told me today, Tuesday afternoon, to put some money on Trump winning New York.

He's been playing with algorithms for last 48 hours and reckons it's worth a bet at anything over 4s. It's available at 33/1 now.

    Don't believe anything you read.

Trump will win so make some money on it.

Looks, people can make their case that they think Trump will win and it will often be fair enough.

Anyone saying that Trump has even a slight hope of winning New York or California is absolutely deluded.

Bets are on ...these things roll around 1 every 4 years and worth the spend. Paid off handsomely last time .

    Heavy on TRUMP outright
    Heavy on Pennsylvania and Ohio
Also on Trump for Florida, North Carolina, Wisconsin, Arizona, and Georgia .
And small nibble on Trump for Michigan
edit : Forgot Trump 270-299 Electoral College Votes
Various odds but low 4 figures on gets high 4 figures back . lets see if I win , break even or suffer pain in the pocket and lose the bragging rights for 4 years
Also a cheeky 50 quid on 35/1 an electoral college draw 269-269

Theres still time to add to this ...
any anti-TRumpers who have put their money on Russia4eva coming thru for them ...

Also, lol @ betting on Trump to win all those states but believing he won’t get over 300 in the EC.

Without linking to absurd WaPo articles or propaganda nonsense at the Atlanti, list what you feel are the top 10 worst lies Donald Trump has told. Cheers.
Here's how this kind of 'Lets talk about his worst lies' thing went last time:
    osarusan wrote: »
Trump on April 24 2020: "5.1 million tests, that's more than all countries combined...all countries combined."
Trump on April 25 2020: [the United States has tested] “more than any other country in the World, and even more than all major countries combined.”
Trump on April 28 2020: “We’ve tested more than every country combined”.
Trump on May 11 2020: "More than all other countries together."
Trump on May 18 2020: "Over 11 million tests, and going up fast. More than all countries in the world, combined."
He wasn't lying when he said any of that. He was just incorrect. Misheard the following stat I expect:

No it doesn't. California has been democrat for nearly 30 years. Even unlikeable hilary got 61% of the vote. New york is even more democrat than california.

I still cant believe you could get 8/1 on Trump winning on election day 2016. Crazy when look back, but was only upside to him winning. Although 2016 was crazy year anyway.

I think Biden will win easy enough this time. Could be very straight forward.

take the challenge! Fill in the electoral college map https://edition.cnn.com/election/2020/electoral-college-interactive-maps and tell us how you chose the swing states, then come back with the number.

FWIW at least 1 boards poster has moved from CA to TX. I doubt he'd agree about the 'actual liberals' things (just what are those, btw?) to describe his politics. He's a moderate in my view. And... with the GOP railing against 'Fake Media' and wanting to restrict the 1st amendment, are they good for free speech?

(That's be the #IMPOTUS's positions, which as of today are the GOP positions and policy because Il est l'état

He also lied when he stated in the debate that China and not the taxpayer are paying for the $28bn in farm subsidies.

He hasn't clarified his comments about them devaluing their currency and how that is relevant

The truth is that he used USDA as a way to avoid congressional oversight to pay $28bn in farm subsidies to cover the shortfall of soy bean and other sales due to his failed trade war with China and the fact that they've changed their sourcing to Brazil.

Joe Biden in the debate said explicitly "that's taxpayers money"

Which is true. That subsidy money is directly coming from the coffers of the USDA funded by the US taxpayer because China are no longer buying as much.

    It was a LIE

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,237 ✭✭✭Billy Mays

Other countries have so fewer cases cos they only test when someone comes into the hospital and throws up all over the floor

    Lie or just being incorrect?

Think my favourite one is where he said he was throwing the first pitch at the Yankee game. He announced the same day Fauci was throwing the first pitch of MLB season. Think he was just jealous of Fauci! He was even making fun of his pitching arm the other day.

Let's just say he was incorrect/being positive etc.

Trump doesn’t lie, he’s just incorrect about nearly everything he says.

That’s not lying, that’s incompetence and it’s clear the Pete has no issue with that.

The acceptable standard for President according to Pete in incompetence as long as that incompetence is shrouded in racism, narcissism, nepotism, republicanism and a whole lot of other undesirable character traits that Pete admires.
