    Anyone who has looked at Trump who has had 4 years in the job, and demonstrated so conclusively his incompetence at it is either more motivated in just not having a Democrat President, or is indeed an idiot. He has done nothing which he said he would do, has lessened dramatically the countries standing internationally and will be known as the guy who criminally mismanaged a Pandemic.

    The reason he is in with a shout is because of the 2 party system and 40% will always vote to keep the others out more so than get their own in and that will continue.

    I'm personally hoping AOC doesn't run until she's in her 50's. That way, she'll hopefully have another 20 years of being influential before her attempt.

    It would be a shame to essentially lose someone from being involved in their prime years just because they happened to be President when they were younger.

    Even if Trump is an idiot and his followers are idiots according to your way of thinking, that does not mean biden is any better.

    I do think you are right that there is a percentage that will be spiteful and just vote out of loyalty to one party, and not because they are the better candidate.

    Yes. I think anyone who looks at Trumps performance, and thinks that more of the same is what is needed is an idiot. It's an opinion based on the evidence which he has provided. There's no 'he will' or 'he might' like there was 4 years ago, there is 'he did' and 'he has' and he is entitled to be judged on his own words and actions.

    In the same way I think anti-vaxxers and flat earthers are idiots.
    Just because there are two sides, I do not have to think that the logic in selecting one is sensible.

    the point I made which you are proving is , when someone says or does something you do not agree with , you label them an idiot....and you are entitled to think that, however my issue is , on this very forum the people who voted for trump were classed as idiots, if they now vote biden, are those people still not idiots, or have they ceased being idiots because they voted for who you liked ?


    Nor does it negate the fact that regardless of how atrocious Trump is, biden is just as bad.
    There is seriously something very wrong when the boring old fart is the best candidate the democrats can come up with.

    I am well aware that on a campaign trial things run on or don't start on time...but I am referring to the very simple task of making sure your guy is ready to go on when he is introduced...then when he eventually does make an entrance, he starts by playing a song on his phone...

    I view those people as idiots because the arguments which they have presented on this and several other threads over the last 4 years are largely idiotic. I am very interested in political conversation in the real world as well as on anonymous forums and wouldn't designate someone as being an idiot just for having a preference of someone, but, the logic around that is sometimes (and more frequently than not on Boards) enough for me to form such an opinion.
    Saw someone post here recently that Trump has build the wall, drained the swamp and made America Great Again. That is an idiotic view in 3 ways.

    Really? Has he pulled the US out of the only meaningful global climate agreement? Has he undone the work in managing Irans desire for Nuclear power? Has he mismanaged the Pandemic through downplaying it, undermining the medical message and distracting from the need for vigilance?
    Has he tear gassed US protestors for a photo OP? Has he lied publicly 20,000 times? Has he undermined the US military? Has he rolled back on environmental protection legislation? Has he pardoned people who threatened to flip on his interactions with Russia? Has he been impeached?

    To say that Biden is just as bad is an idiotic statement based on the evidence available.

    The Democrats came up with Biden to give them the best chance to beat Trump. Trump would give his fake tan to be able rant and rave about a socialist radical or that little indian if Sanders or Warren was up against him. And his base, and others (on here and elsewhere) would lap it up.

    how many drone strikes and bombing and murdering of brown people has happened whilst Biden was vice president.
    how many innocent deaths is he responsible for ?

    The democrats knew those wars were wrong and started on lies by republicans, and what did obama and biden do.....they increased the number of drone strikes under their watch...why ? because they are all war mongers. So dont give me that nonsense as if the democrats cared more about human life, whilst some of their party members even excourage the BLM violent protests.

    Biden is a bumbling idiot to boot, who looks like he is on day release from alzheimers clinic. If you think he is presidential material, then you must have low expectations.

    Bombs have been dropped before Obama, since Obama, and will continue to be dropped.

    Trump, for instance, currently has dropped more bombs than either GWB or Obama in their 1st terms
