Hi all First time living so close to city centre and having the car outside is literally a nightmare. Already clamped twice in space of two weeks. Dublin city council have refused me a permit. I've heard one side of the north circular road is free for some reason, is this true? Would anyone else be able to shed light on…

I've heard one side of the north circular road is free for some reason, is this true? Would anyone else be able to shed light on best possible options are? Even renting a car park space not far away is an option at this stage.

Whereabout in Dublin 1 are you? If you're near the IFSC, there's plenty of free parking over in Ringsend (or at least there was when I lived near there a couple of years ago)
