btea and a full time masters

    Hi Folks

    I've been offered a 1 year masters of engineering in nuig, i have been receiving job seekers allowance for over a year now.

    I have noticed that btea is not offered for my type of postgraduate course, however I would qualify for the susi grant.

    I'm confused as when I did my 4 year degree course I got both, but this time it's different, can anyone explain to me why this is and what is the correct course of action to take on this.

    as far as i know masters arent covered by btea

    Your only option if you want to do a masters and keep your job seekers payment is to look for a Springboard course in an area that interests you.
