I drove past it a few weeks back on the way to Three Castle Head. That drive along Dunmanus bay is stunning.

Was there on Friday, spectacular doesn’t do it justice.

I've seen nothing of west Cork's beautiful scenery yet. Was any of it filmed there?

Where's she from? She's overdoing the Cork accent.

It takes a special kind of genius to make something this bad.

    Awful manure altogether

I dont understand why it's such paddywhackery dialogue. Is this what the orts community of Dublin people think people talk like outside of the capital. Or is is playing up to a stereotype for broadcast outside of Ireland ? On the positive side Amy Huberman isnt in it so that's one thing we have to compliment it on. I'll give it another shot next week, I recall there was lots of 'auls' and 'jaysus' in Pure Mule and I really liked that show in the end.

It reminds me of that awful Easterenders offshoot from a few years back when Kat & Alfie ended up in Dunmore East.

In fairness, compared to the mess that was Taken Down, everything is an Emmy contender.

That would actually be good tho. Good story potential in that on interpersonal levels and also the whole small town vs global corporation. Instead we get this effort. Why can't we have nice things?

Not even an Amy Huberman cameo could save this

The worst opening episode in the history of RTE

It was like they grabbed a load of random people from the street and said to them, "okay now act".

Maybe they will trot the cast out on the late late next week to put the show on life support.

Hard to know what make of that except to say it wasnt that impressive. The scene in the county council office with her getting the list of objectors was cringeworthy.

    They should have done that.
