    Hi richersounds.ie,

    I'm in the market for a new 49-50" TV up to a limit of about €900. TV will be used for watching TV/Movies (no gaming).

    Would you be able to recommend one?

    Priorities;
    • UHD 4K HDR
    • Best bang for buck picture quality
    • 3x HDMI minimum
    • Bluetooth Audio (for connecting to Soundbar)
    [*]
    Nice to haves;
    • DVB-T + DVB-S tuners
    • Smart TV (Bonus marks if AndroidTV) that can be set to Irish location (RTE Player etc).
    • Colour = Black, not silver
    [*]
    I've had a look at the site, and the following models caught my eye. Open to recommendations on other models though:
    Hisense 50AE7400FTUK
    LG 50UN73006LA
    Samsung UE50TU8500
    Sony KD49X7052PBU
    Sony KD49XH8196BU

    Thanks,
    Jon

    Hi Jonathan.

    Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. Seems I missed you post :(

    Personally I would not use Bluetooth for connecting up a soundbar as you run the risk of lip sync issues between the two.

    For an Android operating system it would need to be the Sony 8 series.

    To get the two tuners you would be looking at the 50UN73006, Samsung 50TU8500 or the Sony 49XH8196.

    The Sony 49XH8196 seems to fit the most of your requirements including bluetooth. Personally I think it would be the better of the sets listed above.
    The only issue maybe that its feet are silver.

    I hope this is of help.

    Let me know your thoughts.

    Kenny.
