Just a quick update....

I know that opinions are divided on this card, but after very careful consideration and looking at multiple reviews online (and availability to a lesser extent) I went with the Palit Gamerock 3090. Only other card available to me was an MSI and I dont like that company TBH....

Build quality is 2nd to none, two die cast aluminium plates run throughout the card and its main chasis is aluminium very little plastic on the card. Dual Bios and all fans have dual ball bearing assembly. The card when on youtube does look cheesy but in the flesh its incredible, EVERY reviewer has said that when they got the card hands on it not only performed very well indeed it really grew on them with the combination of build quality and performance.

Comes with a good software suite also.

Unfortunately, one of the Lilan Li Strimer cables broke on me today when installing the card.....F*kin raging I am, as the time of year and so close to xmas it wont be sorted until new year but it is what it is.

Gaming today, playing No Mans Sky, COD:Cold War, Destiny 2 and Flight sim temps never went above 65c and I have it on the default fan curve which is just about audible tbh. So far I am very impressed tbh.....
